@@WilC379 unfortunately no, a lot I viewed around 22k-24k was either too basic or molested. Mint c63 saloon are around 28k-30k low mileage. After viewing a PPP package C63 which ended up having top sump oil leak, I couldn’t stick to the “basic” c63 but the PPP package C63 aren’t coming. Still on the search sort of haha it is a bucket list car I want to own so not feeling too rushed right now.

@@HafizurRahman-ih7ys Too bad. We were looking for a C63s Cabriolet for a fun weekend car, but the one's we liked were selling for almost new sticker even though they were 3-4 years old. Looking around on old threads on MBWorld people were picking up two year old ones for $45k. It looks like the market is starting to come down slowly, so maybe this will be the year we buy one.

@everything_amg
@everything_amg 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Sebastian, thank you buddy. I purchase extended warranty from Mercedes Benz, which cost around £1600.00 I believe for 12 months, as far as I know the warranty doesn’t extend further after fixing the issues. My extended warranty runs out in March, one thing I will say is that MB are useless when it comes warranty work, I had to fight a lot do with them to get the work done, so beware!

I got late 2011 production 4door C63 AmG p30 package from Japan, waiting to be imported. If u are aware of the Japanese Auction they provide grades & auction sheets which has information on faults & features of the car. It didn't mentioned anything & the car is super clean but today when my car friend in Japan took it for a ride he side it's not taking off as it should & there's a maintainance code something to do with the exhaust system & the temperature gauge is moving when accelerating. Need suggestions what should we look for?

I wish id seen this before buying one, my car caught fire at the start of covid because of an oil leak from the engine / gearbox . Id been for a drive to get fuel for Monday when i was going to get a oil pipe replaced at Merc in Bath. So on the Friday night i went to get some shell and went for a small drive with some manual gearbox shifts thus heating up the gb and the engine headers getting rather warm. Get back smell oil a little which is why i got the part ordered, the fans were going still, and i thought nothing more of it as it'd done it before. Then i heard my gf screaming "your cars on fire" - ran outside and sure enough it was on fire - neighbours shouted they'd called the fire service - they took what seemed like forever - i was there running back and forth with buckets to stop it going back to the 70 ish litre tank of shells finest going up. I managed to quell the fire till the fire service came - they put it out. I got pretty much back what i paid for it. I'm glad i owned the car, it was a beast, but theyre far to big for british b roads, the 19" wheels have a habit of cracking on potholes, easy enough to repair. But they are big and you do need bigger roads to get the most out of them. I'm in two minds about what to get next, a complete different car like a Yaris GR or another c63 - but it would have to be a 507 edition with the sls interiors which has the forged internals. I would also make cooling modifications to the front bumper of my 2012 car. I hope this is useful to any prospective buyers. Its a once in a lifetime car for your average chap - the sound of the engine is guttural, it destroyed my friends 997 911 S with 380 brake, for dead. It took off like a stabbed rat and think the 4.4 to 60 might be conservative. Ive had 180 on the autobahn without trying - great, but you cant do that often so they dont really have much application in the UK apart from image and sound and theyre fairly good fun and easy to control in a slide (ensure you get a LSD !) . Any questions i'll be happy to help !

@@captainjacksparrow1 not really man, if you really want the car to perform like an amg should. adjusters make noise because either the locking pin is worn or the backing plate is worn. Has nothing to do with low oil.
@togodog2314
@togodog2314 3 жыл бұрын
That too but low oil flow in adjuster cause clicking too. That's why these engines are known when on start up you hear adjusters then noise goes away. Thats cause takes a few seconds for oil to enter in adjusters.

Mine uses a liter ever 3-4000km which is about 2-2500miles. I was told my the mechanic that I should address it soon but if I too it up as required, it wouldn't damage the engine.
