I got late 2011 production 4door C63 AmG p30 package from Japan, waiting to be imported. If u are aware of the Japanese Auction they provide grades & auction sheets which has information on faults & features of the car. It didn't mentioned anything & the car is super clean but today when my car friend in Japan took it for a ride he side it's not taking off as it should & there's a maintainance code something to do with the exhaust system & the temperature gauge is moving when accelerating. Need suggestions what should we look for?

Hi what would excessive oil buring be? mine uses a liter every 3 or 4000 miles
@everything_amg3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. Mine started to do this but I drove it hard most of the time and used it as a daily, also had my second cats deleted and it was stage 1 remapped, so I put a lot of it on that. Considering the age of these engines now I would say this is normal, how much oil are you putting in every 3 to 4000 miles?
@sezzzi13 жыл бұрын
@@everything_amg It takes 1 liter every 3 or 4000 miles i uasually wait until my low oil warning comes on then poor in a liter to get it back to max level. I have the edition 507. with about 35000 miles on it I had an BMW M4 before this and the oil consumption was about the same when driven hard
@ziyadkaz1103 жыл бұрын
Mine uses a liter ever 3-4000km which is about 2-2500miles. I was told my the mechanic that I should address it soon but if I too it up as required, it wouldn't damage the engine. So is this 100% a crankcase breather valve issue ? Or should I look something else also ? There is no oil leaks at all below or in the engine. 2013 C63 p31 91000km

@@WilC379 unfortunately no, a lot I viewed around 22k-24k was either too basic or molested. Mint c63 saloon are around 28k-30k low mileage. @@HafizurRahman-ih7ys Too bad. We were looking for a C63s Cabriolet for a fun weekend car, but the one's we liked were selling for almost new sticker even though they were 3-4 years old. If your oil is a little low, adjusters click alittle so keep it at max. Change oil very often. So far mines going strong. Big win for AMG at Rolex boys so yeah!
@HorsepowerTherapy23 жыл бұрын
adjusters make noise because either the locking pin is worn or the backing plate is worn. Has nothing to do with low oil.
@togodog23143 жыл бұрын
That too but low oil flow in adjuster cause clicking too. That's why these engines are known when on start up you hear adjusters then noise goes away. Thats cause takes a few seconds for oil to enter in adjusters.

Thanks for a great video, been looking for this for some time now. A few questions: For how long have Mercedes extended the warranty for the different issues with the engine? BR, massiv fan
@everything_amg3 жыл бұрын
Hey Sebastian, thank you buddy. I purchase extended warranty from Mercedes Benz, which cost around £1600.00 I believe for 12 months, as far as I know the warranty doesn’t extend further after fixing the issues. My extended warranty runs out in March, one thing I will say is that MB are useless when it comes warranty work, I had to fight a lot do with them to get the work done, so beware!
