Mercedes CLS VS BMW 6-Series: Who did it better?

Happy New Year Beautiful People!!!
Mercedes began the known trend of 4-door coupè styled sedans. This, they began with the first generation of the Mercedes-Benz CLS series. BMW responded with their version being the 6-series in both 2-door coupè and 4-door gran coupè body styles. For today’s video, @carcontinentng and I compared the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLS400 and the 2014 BMW 640i.
The Mercedes-Benz CLS features lots of driver assistance, media, safety and technology features.
The BMW 6-Series also is packed with lots of safety and technology features and optional extras are made available in packages for a few extra money.
While both cars share similar powertrain but under various conditions, their output and drivability differ.
Which of these two uniquely styled sedans from Germany’s most competitive automobile brands built the better 4-door coupè?

These 2 vehicles along with an Audi RS6 wagon, RS7 and the Porsche Panamera are my dream cars. I wouldn't mind owning either one of these as they aren't too expensive on the user market, but I know they are both money life outside of the initial dealer warranty. Excellent review too 👍

@@ridewithmiee Thank you! The only maintenance issue I’ve had so far is my air suspension. For whatever reason it’s not leveling my car on the passenger side. I’ll be getting that fixed shortly.

Mercedes Benz has no doubt sold out luxury. The interior is good and the vehicles are great. But for performance, the BMW wins everyday.

Do you know how it feels when you pull up with other car owners and it only your car that the back camera is been covered or protected by your car emblem and that's one unique feature and secondly on that back you have also gotten extra security on your back camera because nah wetin you dey see you fit steal. With the BMW you are free to race against a jet. Please do the video of the Camaro and dodge? Are they good cars to be owned in NG?

Well well well I just zoomed in from IG I love the solid reviews from Miee but then Carcontinent didn’t need to stress much so I’ll go with the CLS… forget about the maintenance sh*t sha but BMW(s) are very very delicate but overall they’re very good but for combination of luxury and performance it’s the Benz all day long… Miee no vex o I sabi say you be Bimmer fangirl 😂😂😂

Bmw 640d i much better them any CLS. Cls got to many problems after guarantee finish. You need a lots of money to kipping cls of good running. Nice wideo. So nice review from this beautiful lady.

@@henzo7087 the 650 gran coupe goes 0-60 in 4.6 and 1/4 mile in 13.1.. the CLS 550 is 4.2 and 12.7 1/4 mile.. not faster

When it comes to mercedes and bmw it is always tasking choice to make , mercedes for luxury comfort cruise and gradually engaging performance and bmw for sharp responsive steering in driving and not everywhere like mercedes both are great but i rather go for cls mercedes

I think with proper maintenance services the bmw is the right choice in terms of handling and performance I know the bmw are with their electrical faults but the inline 6 engine in bmw will have more grunt and low end torque Just an ecu remap will make the Benz seem like a Corolla No offense but a petrolhead like me will go for the bmw 🙌🏿 Just to wake you up 😂 that’s the same engine in the bmw m4

Hi there. Thank you for watching. To make a slight correction, it is rather the engine in the BMW Z4 M40i, BMW M240i, 340i, etc and the Toyota Supra Mark V. The engine in the F82 M4 is the S55 and the G82 is the S58

The 2022 G22 m4 engine is derived from the same b58 engine in the 640i

@@dailyspottedexotics yes, the engine in the G82 is the performance variant of the B58 being the S58 and has actual twin turbochargers as opposed to the twin scroll single turbocharger in the B58

@@ridewithmiee After you drive a BMW you never look to other cars (especially American cars) the same way. If you drive an M3 and then you get into a Mustang you feel very downgraded. German cars are so precise that it seems almost arrogant the way they are built. At a stop light next to a muscle car, you are not afraid to step on the accelerator…you will not be embarrassed at all… quite the contrary in fact. BMW´s don't get old… they get classic. And compared to the Mercedes here in Nigeria not every Tom, Dick and Buhari owns one. I hate overly common things. The best 6 on line engines are BMW´s. The best 4 bangers are Audi. The best diesels, MB. BMW´s and Audis are world class in traction, suspension and turns.

Hmmm, hard pick ooh,but y'all know I'm a die hard Benz boy. The mercedes has fuller options and seems more like candy 🍬 given to a kid. Hmmn "the owner doesn't joke with maintenance" @Ride with Miee it's because BMW's give issues their whole wahala. That head room on the BMW though. The Merc is just too fuller an option for me. What particular sound system is installed in the BMW? I prefer the interior ergonomics on the BMW though, everything is at your reach, I'd still prefer comfort in the Merc though. Omo German wars, the Benz clearly won, sorry BMW boys.
