Mercedes comand Online NTG 5.1 5s1 retrofit for W166, W212 and w207 ML to GLE part 5

Here is part 5 of this AWESOME new copart project.
This time a FULL GLE Comand 5s1 5.1 retrofit. This works of course for all models that had the 5s1 like w212, w207,W166, W176,W246,W117 and also in W204 with slight mods.
Comand 5s1 upgrade retrofit in an upcoming video.

That totaly depends on what features you want. With 5s1 im happy with the featires as is. With ntg 4.5 I prefeer the 10.25.

Lights work like before if you keep the 3 colors. Drive mode of course dont work unless you had it before.

Hello, I have a 2016+ W176 with NTG5.1 Comand. I do not have navigation and there is no NAVI button on left radio panel, where the NAVI button supposed to be there is a music note symbol instead. I would like to have navigation retrofitted. Is it possible to do this just by inserting a DVD (and this installs the Navigation software) or some secret codes? From my understanding this car is prefitted with navigation, just not enabled? Can you help please? Thank you!

If your vehicle is pre-fitted with Navi from the factory. They sell a OBD coder plug on Amazon and Ebay. My boss did it on his C300. It unlocked the Navi and install the map.

Hi. With carplay does the music playing show on the dash (MFD) beside the speedometer behind the steering wheel the current music information and allow advancing and rewinding the track? Hi, I have Mercedes w212 with 360 view camera. I see that in EPC modules are different for ntg4.7 and 5.1 and new system is using HSD cable. In fact module A0009004004 installed in my car has this port. Any chance that I need to install only new HSD cable between comand and 360 module? Adam

The head lights you fitted on this merc, will it fit on a ML250 W166 bluetec, year 2014 model? Can they be replaced from standard halogen headlights to this you installed? I mean like a straight swap 1for1 without modifications on panels, bumpers or the bonnet? And if all this is possible to be done, can lights be decoded with the car ecu computer in order to function in fully operational features the lights may have?! except the E Klass with command online which should be equal to 5S1 and activate... There are different Firmware possible which can't activate this if too old..
