Thank you so much, I fitted a new handle on my merc today. Your video helped a great deal. I haven’t got a dremel so just used a sharp chisel to remove the plastic rivets. I purchased a box of fixing clips of various sizes just incase some broke and there was actually one missing! Took me about 3 hours as I had no idea what I was doing until I watched your video. Thanks once again from your English buddies across the pond in London 🇬🇧👊🏼

Great video. Just literally finished the job and couldn't of done it without you. Amateur/rookie at best so took me about 2.5hrs with most of the proper tools. Didn't have a small grinder had to use a 4inch disc but it works once you go slow and steady, Delighted.

Really good video that goes through the entire process to avoid any possible first time gotchas and hiccups. Well done as I was able to do this on my own C250 in less than 3 hours - taking my time to not break anything. The most difficult part was grinding the black taps as Dremel was just melting the plastic rather than cutting it off. Used a wood drill bit and just grinded it out till it broke free.

Charge by the hr. I’d say it can take you anywhere from 2-3 hours. It’s a Mercedes so charge accordingly.

I have done an ignition switch 8 months pregnant on a jeep, pulled a transmission from a suburban, replaced my mass fuel sensor, rewires my cut out Benz headlights and stereo, fixed my DSL (driver steering locking mechanism that my locksmith accidentally pulled programming my new key, all of these by myself but doing my door handle on my Benz was the worst job I’ve ever done I wanted to lose my mind it was awful. I have a 2012 e350. Same issue happened. Is there a link you can post for purchasing the part or part number? The MB dealership says I need to replace the panel at $4000!
