I have a 2003 W211 E500. With open headers there is no drone under 2K

@@bleachstain9785 did you ever put any exhaust on it? I’ve been asking around and I get mixed answers about drone for a muffler delete

@@mitchelljohnson1676 I have yet to find any local exhaust shops willing to install a catless exhaust system for me on my Benz. They all would love to see my Acura Legend (with a significantly more complicated exhaust routing), but they refuse to touch my Mercedes Benz on the premise that “Benz’ are a nightmare to work on”. I’ll be ordering long tube headers from overseas, and making a custom true dual exhaust setup myself, utilizing my factory resonator, and a 3” x pipe before that, and 2.5” pipe everywhere else. As for mufflers I’ll be using gutter and black VHT paint and enamel coated factory mufflers from a Cadillac CTS (both are single tip). I suspect with the factory resonator in place, there will be little drone.
