But the e60 dosnt have the looks like the e55. I love both tho. I test drove both as well and found the e55 seats and road noise was better which was a deciding factor. Btw what head lights are tho? I am getting an appointment to have it inspected tomorrow. I am 57, retired and only drive for fun and doctor's visits and errands. I average 30km/day, I would do 50km if I buy this because driving would be so much fun. Plus I would keep my 1.8L 2009 civic. What do I do? If it passe inspection, would you buy? Any feedback would be immensely appreciated.

The W211 AMGs are very reliable. Never seen an M5 or S6 go 400,000 miles. Rock solid AMG.

Your e55 is the cleanest I've ever seen! I have a 04 e55 amg myself but I am having an issue with my car slightly jittery at cold start. When the engine is warmed up its fine in drive but in park and in neutral again the car very slightly jitters. I've changed the sparkplugs, cables and coils, engine mounts and transmission mounts. I have 118276miles on it. I don't know if the engines suppose to do this or was it silky smooth idle when it was first out the factory since its a V8. And also I was wondering if you are having the symptoms?

Yes, I have a slight jitter as well. I would check for any disconnected or broken vacuum lines. It could also be a faulty crankcase ventilation valve or a dirty throttle body. I will try and make a video on this over the winter.

Also, check your engine mountings. A car with that sort of miledge might have issues in that department.

Alex Hernandez good choice. I’m 17 (turn 18 in like 5 days) and had a 2010 Camaro SS 6 speed as my first car. It was extremely fast for my needs and I had a blast with it. (Also got my ass handed to me by a SL55 but that’s neither here nor there.) My parents and I were told by everyone that I’d kill my self in it but I didn’t. I think it actually made me a better driver for the fact that I can now drive manual very well and can drive a fast, RWD car and know how to handle it. I sold it because I was too tall to fit in the car comfortably, (I’m 6’3 and wear a size 15 shoe, I wore a hole through the floor mat using the clutch.) So I upgraded to pretty much the biggest sedan you could buy, a 2007 Mercedes S550 AMG sport package. I absolutely love the car. It’s extremely quick for the size and still manages to put a smile on my face, despite weighing about 400 pounds more than the Camaro and having 40 hp less. It’ll still do nasty burnouts and cruise at 80 like literally nothing. My family also has a E350 2006 as a family car. It’s great, reliable, and the size is perfect for putting around town. Plus even with 270 hp it really gets up and goes. I would love to have an E55 to really see what the W211 chassis would do. Just the base W211 handles incredibly well and the interior is really nice and held up well over the years. Having an aux port is a lifesaver and the nav system isn’t too bad. I would highly recommend the W211, even as a first car in 55 guise. But you might catch some flack from peers for having a Benz, even if it’s “old.” My 07 S was keyed on the first day of my junior year (2 weeks after I got the car) and has had a lot of shit happen to it over the year I’ve had it. The passenger mirror was broken during our annual last day of year water ballon fight. Just watch out having a nice car, people don’t care how much it actually costs, they’re just assholes because it’s a Benz. Even if it’s the same price as their 2017 Corolla LE.
