This is a vital one that a lot of M156 vets are likely to have done before, but those newer to the engine may never have heard of. Make sure to check the state of the throttle plate if you're going this far. Great work Mike!

I would be interested in the book labor time and the cost of the replacement part. That's a lot of work for a part that looks so simple to replace,... but isn't. Nice work!

What is the line on the back you had to remove to get the manifold out? I cant find it in any diagrams. The one with the T30 hold-down on the valve cover.

Does this valve cause incase blocked or torn makes light creamy mixture under oil cap?

That T30 holding the PCV was a real bitch to get off for me. It's a longer bolt than I thought and I had to use penetrating oil and slowly work it back and forth. That magnesium material is terrible.

Please for the love of everything precious.. Don't use that intermittent montage music every single time you go into tightening or cleaning ... My sanity cannot take it.. Please for the love of God!!! 😓

all that ridicilous, author shows how to disassemble half of engine to replace just a breather, it's not so tough, you just need to take cover and o2 intake pipes then you need to have time to take off that breather, but it's much much easier then in video

soooo much PM maintenance on these motors... I do something monthly - every month since owned.. kinda why i like my M113, so reliable and trouble free in comparison.
