Yes, for the problem that the prices has increased, it did, but also the safety norms would you dare to buy a suzuki 2015 or older and dare it to give it to your loved ones which would probably compress with one small accident too. Also the prices has increased but thats relates to inflation too. There are n- number of reasons People going towards bulky cars which require more materials, desire of more features like ABS, EBD reverse park camera and what not, and still be able to provide an ev hatchback like tiago under 10 lakhs Thats MAGIC SIR. As from the point of view from business for taxis or logistics. This GST can be claimed as credit so you’ll get a really good price for your car/taxi/vehicle, very lucrative for small business, don’t you think? It’s all the game of volume sir, attracting companies to setup plants in India and providing them with best direct tax and other subsidies and charging higher rate of GST also helps government to earn great collection on tax. Its a win win for consumers, businesses, government! I know certain cars have a really high price point which is not at all justified, but thats the companies goodwill what they charge for, a honda city now at 19 lakhs vs 2015 model. In the future, sir, you’d witness very cheap EV tech, that’s what i think. And just like today as ev is costly, you’d find hydrogen fuelled cars to be expensive. But after volume, it’ll come down and petrol cars and other cars would be very cheap if successful, or very expensive if not successful! Cheers bud.
