Correction: teenager and adult passengers can control heating in the back. Kids can't even reach the vents 😮 Also by default max speed is 140, 160 is a paid option. Regen level is controlled by the shift paddles which is a nice touch. 27 kWh/100 km all time average is accurate after >30k with it. I do get a lot less in summer but winter and rain is tough. Biggest disadvantage in my opinion is the front tyre wear (max 20k) and overall empty weight (2900kg with our options) Thanks for the video. I liked the ones with you talking more but looks like this is what the internet wants.

One thing puzzles me about the EQV: why is the charging port at the front? This vehicle is *long*. With tethered charging points, you surely have to forwards park so the cable reaches the port, and then afterwards reverse out into the road or car park aisle. Yes, it has reversing cameras: great! You still have to reserve the front wheels far enough out of the space so you can start turning the car, and when its turning circle is already >13 m, suddenly you need a lot of room to get out of the space!

It is not available in the US. So it does not matter.

It’s crazy that none of the ICE based EQ models are coming to the US. You’ll have to wait for the EQS I guess…

It’s a nice design and car however for a ev drive car this size is just too big and consumption is just too high. Unless your local electricity price is significantly lower otherwise no benefit to drive this. By the way it costs up to 90k in Germany.

Me too, a V300d. Range and acceleration of the EQV made me decide to wait for the bigger battery & range. I’ll buy the next EQV when it comes out :).

I agree. And it is a bit too slow… That’s why I ended up buying a V Class 300 instead. I hope the next generation will have double the range and double the acceleration and we’re good!
