Mercedes front end suspension clunk noise FIX: Sway Bar Link E350 W212

In this video Mike Icee will explain the front end clunk noise from the suspension and steering on a Mercedes W212 E350 e-class. How to fix and avoid this noise and rattle problem?
How to lfix and service the sway bar linkage for the Mercedes-Benz W212 E-Class sedan and wagon 2010 - 2016. The procedure is almost same for all W212 models.
Always check with a Mercedes Dealer for proper parts and repair methods.

Well make sure yours is bad, yes I tried Lemforder and it was garbage... I put the genuine part and I've been very very happy.

Need help? I got mercedes benz c, and it makes a clanking noise when I reverse out of my driveway however, the noise disappears when driving straight. Could this be the same problem?

I have the same problem when I'm slowly backing out of my driveway and I turn the wheel at the top to pull onto the street. Progressively worse over the past few months, subtle clunking or otherwise rattling noise, almost like the creaking sound in old building makes on a windy day. Anything you found out 6 months ago you can fill me in on?

I had the same issue on my 2004 CLK 500. My sway bar link was brand new both sides and it makes sound very loud crunk crunk from driver side. I thought it was upper and lower control arms so I changed them all brand new as well but the sound crunk crunk still on. It took me a while to figure out and found out that the upper connection of sway bar link on driver side was not tight so I tight it per specification and the sound went a way.

On this part go OEM because Lemforder is really low quality only 20K while OEM 100-200K

@@mikeicee Not yet. I will when I get under the front and take some load off the suspension. I'll check for play. About six months ago I had the alignment checked and they said everything was tight.

By the way i get some weird noise when going slowly in high speed bump only , i get noise like creak noise only at very high speed bump in front suspension what could be causing that noise

If your car has 100,000+ kilometers all Front suspension Has to be replaced

Itseasy to check even with the car parked with engine off. Dont buy the lemforder brand as they go bad in 20-30K miles while OEM go bad way past 100K miles in most cars.

Some MB model, use 16mm or 17 mm wrench with 7mm wrench.

I changed my both sides on 2004 CLK 500 and the crunk crunk sound came from driver side because I did not tight that good. Make sure it needs to be tight per MB specification. Now, I do not have that crunk sound any more.

Bro, if you want to make helpful videos, make it helpful. This has about 1 out of 20 useful tips for this job. Also, you don't have to put both wheels up, just block the lower control arm and lower the car till the sway bar has no pressure. No likes here.
