Good job. Why didn't you connect the fob to the power supply or a multimeter to check the current before and after the fix?

That is a good point! Thanks for the recomendation. Actually the problem was fixed. The customer called me 2 weeks later and reported that the batteries did not drain again.

Thanks for this great video, i was wondering when you were checking the switches with an ohmeter, how come you didn't PRESS the switch down to make a circuit, as unpressed you would not get a connection or a reading ? 🤔

Hi thanks for the comment. Checking the switch health not needed. The switch had no problem. Was locking-unlocking the car as it should do. So it would get us nowhere just hearing a beep with the multimeter just checking the switch terminals. What mattered was what the switch was connecting to and what was the resistance of it's terminals.
