Updated my 15yr old Mercedes Key fob and it didn't cost me $380 to do it!

Finally got my 2005 Mercedes Benz SLK55 AMG "project named Schneider" a new key casing.

You forgot very important things , is a two different types of the silver key some of them got one battery and same got two battery. Looks everything the same but you can fit the electric stuff inside.

Me too and unless I'm doing something wrong, the new fob's insides don't come out like they do in the original key. Only the cover for 1 battery pops open on the blank side. I ordered the key fob as per the link above.. Help???

Just so you know the key you linked is completely different than the one in the video. No Benz logo on it and different way of exchanging circuit boards

Then the case you have is a aftermarket one. Those have 1 battery, I've updated the case link for the newer style key(in video)
