What are the symptoms you see due to bad caps?

Failed caps usually result in a totally dead ECU. It will do nothing as far as controlling the eha so the mixture is running in default emergency mechanical operating mode. It may or may not still have functional idle speed control as this is an independant circuit in the applicable ecus. Usually the caps fail routinely in the smaller ecu’s used in m102,m103,m116,m117 cars. These ones not so much. They are much higher quality components.

Element14 is where i bought them from. You need to search for Epcos which is the TDK brand of capacitorS

Hello, I have one mercedes KE-Jettronic (0438100011) and somebody else was trying to rebuild it, however now the car dont start anymore and I want to rebuild it, but the problem is I dont know the barell position where he needs to point and how deep do I have to screw the barell screw, so I want to ask where can I get that data for my jettronic. Thanks

you need to turn till fuel begins to well in an open distributor port and go back a quarter turn. Thats how you find basic position.

I have the same engine as yours what are the improvements of this job and in ehat step would you put it.After changing every sensor on the car?My car is working well but rich(the smell of gas is terrible)but it doesn't have any issues

if its working then i wouldn’t play with the ecu. It either works or it doesn’t. your issue will be something else.

on these ecu u only need tbe 2clamp connector and single for base module to run right?

This is the KE-jet version m104. It only has 1 connection

I forgot that i replaced them already. When i opened it up i was disappointed to remember i'd been here before already 🤣In any case now it has decent ones in there.
