Diesels have less moving parts how? You have a turbo which some petrols do not. You have a diesel particulate filter along with catalytic converters which petrols do not. You have exhaust gas recirculation valves which petrols do not. You have urea injection which petrols do not have.

GLE is not M, different model range

The last ML was the w166, it was renamed in the middel of it's life cycle to GLE. So the ML was renamed to GLE.
