Hello, great video - can you please share not only the pin diagram of the switches at the roof module, but the others pin connections as I received an SLK230 / 170 99 2.3 kompressor automatic, completely destroyed, and trying to test and replace each pont Thanks.

Thanks for asking. This is all the information we have. You may want to google the subject and see what information has been posted on the SLK forums. Good luck!

Hello I have a 2012 e class cabriolet, was all working perfectly but now when opening the roof the windows go down but it’s doesn’t move the roof also it now doesn’t say top in operation on my dashboard either can u point me in the right direction please

The 2012 E-Class (A207 chassis) has a top system similar to the A209 CLK-Class. You want to make sure that the windows are synchronized. If the computer knows all window positions and you don't get a "top in operation" message, then you likely have a problem with this micro switch: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kH2slaKfrMR-irs Please do not reply to this post, but give a more detailed description of your findings in a comment to the video I just quoted in case you need more help.

So with the roof up should all the other micro switches read 0V? and with the roof down all read 12V?

Any chance you guys saw this lol

@@MERCEDESE260 He specifies it early, if the roof is up, the toggle on the switch will short the circuit to ground showing 0V and if the roof is down, the micro switch will show 12V across the two pins. The only exception to this is the Trunk Lid microswitch near the Passenger tail light assembly. It's what's referred to as a "Normally Closed" switch meaning that if the trunk is open, it will display 0V and if the trunk is closed, it will show 12V. Logically, this makes sense; if the switch was the same as the rest and some how the switch went bad or there was a ground in that circuit somewhere, the computer would believe the trunk was closed no matter what state it actually was in.
