Mercedes R350 front struts replacement

06 and up Mercedes R350 Front struts install

I forgot to mention when installing the bolt to the bottom shock fork use a pry bar to line up the holes also use a Jack to raise up the rotor assembly to line up the holes for the bottom fork bolt and nut.

Seems like compressing the spring would allow you to shorten the strut to get it out easier?

very good video. I have one of them with visible leaks, but I am not sure about the OEN. I have 2 possibility: 1- oen A2513203713 and A2513200730 2-OEN A2513200330 and A2513202813 Can you tell me wich one is yours. I don´t know whats the diferent between them. thanks very much

Was there any visible leaks from the sagging strut? I am currently about to remove my front uk driver side strut but there is no visible signs of leaking.

Cheer for a reply 👍🏻 i have removed now just ordered a new one. Also found a pin hole in the cv and metal fragments. I found that the bearing runs in the joint are major damaged allowing play in the joint.
