Just a quick video to help my followers find and locate remove get access to the TCM ECM Bas ESP computersmy next video will be on how to disconnect the harnesses and how to take care of the broken pins the harnesses that connect to the computers and also how to solder and fix these pins when they get corrosion from sitting with water on them

Honestly I'm very confused with this car the entire fusebox seems to be malfunctioning somehow like my compressor will fire but I test the fuse and it's not getting power. Honestly just trying to get it off the ground after it's been sitting seems to me as tho perhaps this entire fusebox isn't getting enough power

Hey, Josh great video with lots of info. Great Job. I have 2000 s430 that won't start crank or start after a minor accident with no airbags deployed. I've checked the 3 fuse boxes in the front engine compartment and rear right passenger seat all ok but no solution. Any suggestions as to what to do to get out of this problem. My launch scanner tool does not even detect the transmission when connected. I'll appreciate your input pls. Thank you for your time.

I have a 2001 S430 and the Instrument cluster lights and gauges aren't working. I've checked all fuses and they are good. I had cluster removed and serviced, and still not functioning. Only the SRS light illuminate when you start the vehicle. Can you tell me the fix for the problem?

don’t know if anyone stilll responds here but, just installed a new crankshaft position sensor (2000 s430) and still have check engine light. went to go test drive it and my car will not shift gears. i have no slipping or grinding within transmission. car starts up perfectly. is my car just stuck in limp mode due to check engine light and that if i remove the code i should be all good ?

The computer on the passenger side you mentioned transmission oil coming from the 13th pin. Could that transmission fluid cake and dry on the entire board. Cause I got something orange red dried on the board. Is that normal

Sounds like the transmission fluid definately wicked it’s way up I say clean it

The ECM is the one he showed that’s not the TCM

Josh we spoke before about my s500 2003 so as of right now the car is not starting unless I get a jump start but the car will die after about 10 min I'm going to change the crank sensor / transmission sensor /13pin connector do you think that will fix my problem or can it be a ecu issue I'll appreciate the help

Crank sensors. Easy. Driver side of bell housing. E8 or e10 nut. $12 sensor on eBay. If you have to jump start it though it won't be the sensor. It's the car battery being drained because you have fluid somewhere grounding out harness and draining power. Change 13 pin plug. It will work

@@joshgray2024 Hey there hate to bother you.... please send me PayPal so I can send you some money... So here's the run down my car battery was charged at auto zone I tried starting the car and the ignition won't turn at all I have to keep messing with it and eventually car will start then turns off..... After that I can't start car again or it'll start but engine won't... Not to mention my shifter won't get off of park now and I still have to change the trans range senor pin connector and crank shaft.... I'm Tring to start with ignition what are my options...thanks again much appreciated

@@mandolasmetalyoutubechanne7794 so you're going to have to change your crank position sensor it's an e8 or an e10 bolt on the driver side bellhousing you can get at it from the top of the engine you just have to remove the engine cover where your intake tubes are and you can see it on the bell housing of the transmission next to the firewall you can get to it from underneath the car as well on the driver's side underneath the driver side to get from the tire very easy to do it takes about 2 minutes to get out now that's going to be the problem with the starting and not wanting to stay running if the car starts and then it shuts back off now what you also want to check is your ignition situation if your terminals are corroded or anything my wife's car does the same thing and I have to literally open the trunk and play with the ground wire terminal for the battery and eventually the car will start and I can put it back in park and the key will come out of the ignition so that's another thing to check out and look for I would highly suggest removing all of your computers and your Sam units and opening them up to clean them out clean the circuit boards because I don't care what anyone tells you or where you live what state you're in they all do it they all fill up with water they all get moisture in there and it's because of where they place the computers at underneath the windshield wipers and when you open the hood the water from the vents on the hood trips right onto the Bas ESP computer and the TCM and the ECM computers they get full of water the same units get covered in water so that's the first things you'd want to check now the thing with the ignition if you can pop your ignition sensor out where keys is. Check connection behind key input. Clean it and clean your key end where sensor can read once it connects to ignition. This is very easy fix. Check all fuses. Under hood. In trunk(if older s model). Under rear seat passenger side. Dash on pass side also has fuse spot under hood near strut towers two of them one on each side

Alternator. Fuse. Relay. Connections to battery. And terminals. Check main distribution block under pass floor board in front. It's under the carpet. Under silver metal tray. Huge red power wires going to it and huge fuse blocks. If floor was wet or moisture built up it corroded and breaks the fuse block apart slowly over time due to amount of power traveling through it. Corrosion is the worst thing with these cars

Google. They have entire wire and fuse set ups show exactly where. But if you have fuel issue or speed issue limp mode. Most likely is computer. They all get it. All of them get wet and corrosion on wires. I specialize is just the s class models and parts usually don't go bad. It's always wires. Connection to part or computers. The harness gets corrosion on clips.

@@joshgray2024 I am having TCM and ECU problems. Carsoft scanners showing that the modules can not communicate with each other. Alot of the various modules are at Fault in red. 2000 S500 it was a beach car for it's entirety there must be some corrosion wet or water moisture seeping thru the wires? The front and rear SAMs are still good I believe. I'm having intermittent shifting problems. Stuck in different certain gears sometimes 1st other times 2nd or 3rd. How do I fix this problem?
