I have one of these in graphite grey. Totally agree with most of the comments but there really is too much power for the rear wheels. On a wet day, I've had wheel spin at 70 mph after pressing the acclerator too sharply. Scary on a motorway! My F10 M5 was just the same so next time it'll be an RS7 for me.

By far the finest convertible ever made since 2001. So advanced, you really need 30 minutes to do an AMG SL justice with it's active suspension, power and massaging seats.

I think the S-Class convertible is its main rival. And that car is much more modern, fresh to the market and it looks better. The SL is mostly the same for the past 10-15 years. Yes it keeps evolving but it always felt more like a facelift than a new model. The only thing SL has going for it is the metal roof, and just because if that, it's the one is pick. Because it can be used all year around. But I'd go for the early double-oval headlights one. Ps. Great work with the music!

The S-Class has extra seats which is a plus, but I think the metal roof is still a winner. I do like the early cars, affordable too. Thanks buddy.

S class is a boat... This is much lighter shorter wheel base and sportier to drive, and sits lower.. completely different car.

Still love the long distinctive front on these! Nice little beasty, feel like Merc could do with giving the switch gear and dash a slight refresh though.
