Your website implies that MPG may be improved by up to 15%. Is there any evidence to support this?
@BluesparkAutomotive5 күн бұрын
Hi there, Yes we have a decent amount of evidence, from our testing, customer testimonials and fleet testing. With MPG, the trouble is that driving style is still a massive influence. If you use the additional torque provided to change up sooner, and as a result on average achieve the same performance at a lower average RPM then you will usually see a good increase in MPG. If alternatively you use the additional torque and power to drive faster than you did previously, then naturally you won't usually see an MPG improvement. We offer a no quibble 28 day money back guarantee on all of our products, which allows you to test out the results for yourself. If you don't see great results in your own use case, then you can return the unit for a full refund.

Hello. I have this same car, 2015 plate. Can you please advise if this mod will increase engine wear and tear for standard use of the car? Thank you.
@BluesparkAutomotive3 жыл бұрын
Hi. Thanks for your message. If the car is driven in a sensible manner there is not extra significant wear caused by having the box installed. All of our maps are engine specific and work within safe tolerances of the vehicle and all components. Thanks

So what do you do to this and what is the cost?
@BluesparkAutomotive3 жыл бұрын
Our tuning box Controls Fuel and Boost Pressure in harmony. Near factory Air/Fuel Ratios and EGTs are maintained throughout the rev range. The cost of our Pro + Boost Unit is £279.99. You can see more details through the following link: www.bluesparkautomotive.com/mercedes-slk-250-cdi-blueefficiency-204-ps-pro-boost

@@BluesparkAutomotive thanks, looks really good. If it’s this easy, why don’t manufacturers install these on stock vehicles? Are the engines stressed for 250bhp and is there any long term additional maintenance to be completed as a consequence of installing this box?
@BluesparkAutomotive3 жыл бұрын
@@PLEASESUBSCRIBE2M There are several reasons. One is they produce the same engine over a wide range of vehicles and de-tune power in software for lower-end options. Costs less than manufacturing several engines. Also they do it to keep within emissions levels and required power limits. Our boxes are always designed to work within safe limits of an engine.

What would 0-60 times be against stock 6.7? Does the auto transmission (both in normal and s mode) work okay with the increase in torque?
@BluesparkAutomotive2 жыл бұрын
0-60 time should be sub 6 seconds presuming a decent driver, decent tyres and a decent road surface. The auto box works absolutely fine in harmony with the tuning box and takes the increase no problem at all.

How much can be achieved with remap only?
@BluesparkAutomotive Жыл бұрын
These results are with the tuning box only, there aren't any hardware mods done here. A good remap will likely get similar results.
@Dellvmnyam Жыл бұрын
@@BluesparkAutomotive thanks, I thought the tuning box is some kind of a hardware mod.
@BluesparkAutomotive Жыл бұрын
@@Dellvmnyam It is a physical item, but it isn't a hardware mod as such. Its effectively a plug in remap if that makes sense.

Hi, you would be better looking in owners groups or forums for advice on this.

Hello, after chip tuning 0-100km/h ? 100-200 ?
@BluesparkAutomotive2 жыл бұрын
0-60 should be around the 6.0 second mark. 100-200kmh we can't legally test in the UK (besides on a track). We certainly wouldn't be taking a customer's car to 200kph on the road.

I've a 2011 c250 estate with I'm guessing the same engine as in the video however on the 5 speed auto box. Online it says 5 user selectable maps ranging from eco to all-out performance. How are these selected. Is it a case of opening the bonnet every time. Thanks
@BluesparkAutomotive2 жыл бұрын
Currently yes, the settings are adjusted on the unit itself. This isn't actually an issue, as you don't need to switch maps often if at all once you have found the setting that works for you. You will still get good economy results on the higher performance maps, provided that you drive in an economical fashion.
