Great DIY video and thank you 👍 I have an A 207 (2010 E350 Coupe) so there were some slight differences but overall very helpful. Especially navigating the Driver's side breather! I ended up using a Leatherman tool with a 1/4 option on it and a small Crescent Wrench with electrical tape holding a T30 bit to get the passenger side done 🤣 I had ordered the total breather replacement kit and found a few extra "caps" in it. I watched the other FCP video on MB breathers and found out where those went. I definitely understand how different models have different variations and your 2 videos certainly helped. Also, the passenger side breather used an E8 instead of an E10 (this is why you buy an entire set of sockets/etc instead of just 1!) and your replacement kit also came with an E8 as a replacement so you guys and gals are on the ball when it comes to replacement parts. Well done and thank you again for the DIYs and replacement parts!

11:30, What exactly is that part's function vs the crankcase breather that you changed on the back passenger side? I have experience a lot of oil loss for some time now, even when changing the breather on the back passenger side (that old part had seen better days!), but I am still losing a lot of oil with no visible leak. Should I change the part at 11:30 too? I have seen pictures of the inside of that part and it doesn't look anything advanced, it's just plastic on the inside. How can it fail?

Great video I have the m273 2010 e550 coupe and I have changed this stuff more times than I can care to count and pretty much as soon as I install a new pcv vent and the drip pan I notice oil in the hose that goes to the intake. I have also put a new intake so I don't want the new one getting soaked. I've been getting a choppy idle and smoke coming out the tailpipe. What can this mean?

Perhaps you will speak about it in the video, and I apologize if you do, but if you do indeed get oil into the intake manifold, you change this part assembly out (as you've instructed in video), but what happens to the buildup of oil in intake? Are there additional measures to take if that is suspected?

This might be about 2 months too late, but I would personally recommend taking the intake manifold out of the car and cleaning it and doing the repair kit on it as preventative maintenance as they are a very common failure. If you notice oil in the intake, then the intake could be already compromised and it's just a matter of time before it breaks, which leads to poor performance and rough running.

Instead of replacing it how about installing a catch can

Most people with the car as a daily driver don't want the added maintenance of a catch can, in my opinion
