Hey guys, in this video we will show you how to remove and replace secondary air pump on Mercedes CLK 320. This procedure will work on many Mercedes Models with the 3.2 and 4.3 engines, also some other V6 and V8 Engines. If you have a code P0410 Secondary air pump it is very likely that you have a bad pump.
This might work on CLK W208 Mercedes, Mercedes C320 W203, MERCEDES ML320 ML430 W163, MERCEDES E320 E430 W210, MERCEDES W211 E320 E500.

Hi I have a 2004 Mercedes-Benz e320 estate/wagon base model and I wanted to ask you how can I fix the little rubber hose on the front bottom part of the intake manifold by where secondary air pump is at. it has broken off and I cans find anything that shows how to fix it since the rubber hose goes all the way into the intake manifold, could you please help me out or point me in the right direction on directions how to fix it, it would be highly appreciated.

What was the main reason replacing secondary air pump? What was the syptoms? What is the kilometer of the car? Without these info your video only shows how to loose a bolt :(

Hello Guys. Can you help me? When my car's engine (M112/3.2) is hot, this pump turns on for 5 second and then off, then again and again. What can be wrong with it?

I didn't learn anything from this video! What caused it to fail?! Was it repairable? How much did a new cost?!

I learned out to take it out from this video. These pumps usually fail because Mercedes uses cheap-ass relays that arc and eventually stick in the closed position, causing the pumps to run continuously and burn the motor out. The pumps are easy to test. Pull the plug and apply 12v using the correct polarity. It will spin up instantly and smoothly if it's working. Sometimes the relays fail in the open position and all you need to do is replace it to get your pump going again. They're 5 or 6 bucks online. If you go to the dealer, they will rape you. I've heard of people paying over $40 there for a $5 part, only because it has the Mercedes star printed on it. Total scam as usual.
