Mercedes w211 E350: Difficulty in LED Conversion(LONG)!!!

I changed every halogen bulb in my w211 to led, everything interior and exterior. It took 30 minutes, did not need to take off anything. I apresciate your dedication though. Tip: with a heater you can take off the headlight glass and clean it from the inside.

What a struggle it was to do this without taking off the bumper. Took me 2 days and watching this video several times to get the clips to engage while working blind. I appreciate you showing this as I would not have been able to do it otherwise. An you tell me which led parking lights you used. The ones I ordered dont work.

Af for parking lights, you need to use resistors. send me an email(description) I will try to send you what you should be looking for. They have to be. specific to these damn cars. NO condensation inside headlights. You need to drill it certain way and have fender liners in place.

what kind of bulb did you use for the inner capsule (bulb that sits below the high beam)?

T10, aluminium, longer but same diameter as a hole

I tried to put LED in parking light in my W211 and it work very poor and flash... How i can fix that?

you did not pay attention to the video. I even did a test with headlights on that parking light to find out if there will be an issue. YOU would need to buy canbus LED 'bulbs' for a parking light and you need to either make your own or buy a pair of special resistors for this car. It's almost a combination of what you need to use.

Why does ours only have 1 plug? I got aftermarket lights and it has 2 plugs how do i get that to work? Im Gonna figure something out.

I am not sure I understand what has 1 plug and what has 2 plugs.

@@artworkslights my lights i had before have only 1 plug to plug in. And the aftermarket lights i have has 2 things to plug into. I have not tried to put them on yet. I got aftermarket headlights im putting on. But my harness as far as i can see has only 1 plug to connect to the headlights on each side. Ill try and look later when i take the old ones off again to see if i see anything else im missing. Because i dont know where the 2nd wire with the plug is supposed to plug into on the new lights

That's the wrong converter you need the one without the two bulges then you don't need to modify anything tut tut tut

I think, modification is better than buying some parts. Look for similar LED bulb kit or projector equivalent conversion.
