I just did this to my 2004 E320. I ordered the tool not expecting it to work, to be honest. It was under $30 delivered, so I figured it was worth a shot. And to my surprise, it worked! At least for now, anyway.

Hello! No regen, I did a complete diagnosis of w211. The sbc slowly tullepi the 1.4m brake event. Already my fault displays have appeared. I saw your video and ordered such a tool. I did the restart. For 3 days everything was perfect without error. yesterday flashed Service Brake! Visit Workshop and Break Fluid Error. Do you have any idea what the problem is? What I did to make the error out of the service alone was not to reset the sbc because it was ridiculously asked for it so that there were only a few clicks in the program. the cube was said to have no mechanical trouble just beyond the operating hours. It is like Russian Roulette. It might work perfectly for thousands of kilometres and one day your valves inside the SBC unit decide to quit their job leaving you with no brakes at all. Just resetting the warning is ok for a very short time but the Unit needs to be replaced after that!!!

Хватает много но не безопасно. Надо до этого проверить щетки на моторчике. Так как если моторчик сдохнет автомобиль не узнает этого и тормоза просто откажут. Автомобиль уже будет думать что сбц только из завода так как вы обнулили его (ну как то так )

Please don't do this! The message means, that the SBC-Brake Unite exceeded its expected lifetime and needs to be replaced soon!!! There is no resetting it. The unit is just not tested for longer operations and may fail leaving you with no brakes at all. Still, it might also work for another few thousand kilometres. You just don't know. It is just stupid and dangerous to ignore these warnings. Don't mess around with it.

I share this concern, yet my Mercedes just displayed the error code C249F - SBC pump end of service. The SBC system is covered in the US with 25 year warranty, so I took it to the dealer. They reset the counter and did not replace the pump. Makes we wonder for sure.

This is no different than ignoring the fault its only capped to be inspected by mercedes if no other faults they will just reset it too

@@Ben-wx7br The problem are the brushed contacts in the electric Motor that produces the Pressure for the unit... They have an expected lifetime and at some point they will be completely worn out and thus the motor can't function anymore. If this happens while your driving the first few break actions will still work until the pressure is too low and the next time you step on the brakes nothing will happen!!! You can refurbish the unit by replacing the contacts and in addition checkin the internals for any other faults. But to simply reset the units counter ist idiotic and potentially life threatning for you and the drivers around you!!

Давление подпора ресивера 91 bar (69-110). Общий пробег 300 000 км, родной блок меняли по гарантии (в Финляндии) при пробеге 200 000 км.

Until one fo the tiny valves inside your SBC unit decides to fail cause some idiot ignored the warning light and decided to just reset it instead of replacing it. You will notice because either one or all of your wheels will lock up completely or you try hitting the brakes and absolutely nothing will happen. However, it may also last another 200.000km or so. No one knows because the unit was not designed or tested after exceeding its lifetime. So... you may die in a terrible accident because your brakes don't work or nothing will happen. Thrilling isn't it?

And that is a good thing because the Brake unit exceeded its lifetime and needs to be replaced!!!!!!! There is no resetting it. The unit is just not tested for longer operations and may fail leaving you with no brakes at all or locked up wheels. Still, it might also work for another few thousand kilometres. You just don't know. It is just stupid and dangerous to ignore these warnings. Don't messs around with it.

Kindly help me, I have the W211 SBC recovery by OBD made in China but the cables for the connector to the machine are out, my son pulled the Out while the connector to the car is intact. Help me on how to reconnect the cables I need to put food on the table for my family. Thanks in advance.

Amazing Road TV делали диагностику старом . Сказали надо прошивать блок . Ресурс на срабатывание кончился . Блок А005.... может все таки на 219 кузов он не подходит ?

Вам решать но на W219 тоже блок что и на W211. Если ошибка именно C249F то должен сбросить

Have we all noticed there isn’t many answers from the person who uploaded the video 😤 & by the way it’s utter bollocks because it DONT work. The sbc unit is faulty, a replacement could cost up to £3000. It’s a shit design fault & can be lethal !! SHAME ON YOU MERCEDES BENZ 🤮
