Thanks for this. Followed your instructions for my 2003 w220 S500 and voila! It tells me that my car has 6.7 quarts of oil. Brilliant.

Make sure your MFD is displaying the MILES screen. Turn Key to OFF Turn Key to ON Press the R button (right side of cluster) three times while the SRS light is on: If you pressed the reset button 3 times while the SRS light is on and you were on the MILES screen, your display will display your voltage: You can scroll through the various screens using the page up / page down controls on the left side of the steering wheel: You'll see the car model, engine type, oil level (when running), software versions, VIN # and a bunch of other information: Last page is the ESP DYNAMOMETER TEST screen: Using the volume +/- controls on the right side of the steering wheel select ON Start the car and several malfunctions will display since this will disable ESP, ABS, BAS, BPV and several other electronic controls in the car. When you are done with dyno mode you MUST disable it... otherwise it will always be in dyno mode. Go to the ESP DYNAMOMETER menu and select W. KL15 OFF and then start the car.

every mercedes has a reset button. so this is a sklasse from 2003. w220 s400 cdi. so search for the reset button and then go to the options where you see the km. so to make it easy put the in position 1. than scroll down where you see the km. than press 3 times on the reset button and than it will work. and you will see the secret menu.

I always wondered why my S400cdi cranks for several seconds before starting and I have only seen my OM628 and no other. I can see that yours cranks for the same duration and must be normal. I am so used to more modern engines that fire up with less than a crank rotation.

How do you change the time on the cluster? Like it says 16:28 for you....mine is blank. How do i make the time show up there?
@forzer453 жыл бұрын
Did you figure it out? To my knowledge it uses the COMANDs time - no comand no time on the cluster. Stupid imo as the cluster also has a clock to keep track of the service interval as my comand is completely dead.

@@forzer45 No, have not figured it out! So crazy because it used to be there, and then it disappeared one day.

I have a 2003 mercedes s600 and this menu doesn't exist, mine has the us speedometer so perhaps that's why, but I do have the menu in the ac controls, is there any way for me to view my oil pressure ?
