True Story: I live a few miles away from Bart’s repair shop. I took my car in for a tire rotation and it was done so professionally and faster than any other mechanic I’ve been to. He’s got a great crew. I never knew he had the chance to drive a car. This is amazing stuff from Mercedes Benz.

@@MercedesBenz Wow, thank you for the unexpected reply. I am humbled. The video really moved me as a person, not just a petrol head and MB owner. I have owned a 2005 SLK 350 manual for 3 years. It is on 60 000 miles and is cared for a lot. Tomorrow it is being treated to some underseal and a new cat back exhaust. I absolutely love the car. Before that I have owned MB cars. I love how they drive and are designed. I have owned many brands, but Mercedes-Benz are my favourites. I like the idea of an R170 SLK32 AMG, but for now my R171 350 is just right being a manual model. The V6 sound is subtle, yet under load will echo. I cannot wait to hear the new exhaust and to return the car to showroom condition. It is a beautiful car, and much loved. I am lucky to own such a wondeful and well made car.

Not all fathers are created equal... Remember, they're just people. My father thought of me as nothing but an investment, one day I'd pay him back for all the money he spent raising me, forgot about feelings and caring, his idea of raising a kid was "how much money will it cost me" and "how can I save money" My best friend was treated as a trophy, dressed up and paraded around his business associates to make him seem more reliable, but literally thought she was nothing more than a tool, to be used. When she got too old for this, she was kicked out of the house and given nothing, not having been raised or taught anything a father normally would. My biggest pet peeve is when people think that a father is entitled to respect for being a father, when they've done nothing to earn it.

Being a parent doesn't come with a manual. Parents are people too and do make bad choices. Until we walk in their footsteps, we may never understand why. As a young person it doesn't make sense because we live in a childs world. If you were not happy with the way a parent raised you, just realize they taught you what kind of parent not to be. A tough lesson, but hopefully your children will benefit by it. Tough but fair, parent before friend. Learn, heal and move on. Life is too short to look back and blame someone else for the things you may not have.
