Great advise Kent. People fail to realize what a "B" service is for, not just the items on a list, but to look at all areas not on the list. There was a video of a UK shop that covered this very thing, showing issues or where issues have been found during a "B" service, most DIY'ers just don't have the daily experience to look at every possible area of their car. Why we need shops like Mercedes Source is to ensure our cars last the longest possible. Also, I've only ever used Continental belts on all my Benz's. The other day I found several people comment Continental is a bottom tier belt, that Gates was far superior. I for one will continue with Continental and other OE or OEM parts on MY cars. Might you consider a video for similar conditions on the M119 4.2L and 5.0L as found in the late W124?

Those engines use a single polyrib belt, which is easy to change. Definitely recommend checking and replacing the fan clutch, since you have to take it off anyway. If you are a masochist, you can work the belt off between the fan blades, but it's a hassle. Just spin the fan clutch off. Turn the nut CLOCKWISE to remove, its a reverse thread.

I know this video is about 420 and 560. 1st question any of your parts work with 1997 S420. 2nd question, does any of your parts work with a 1985 500SEC EURO. Also looking for the 2 valves that sit on the side of windshield viper reservoir. Would kindly appreciate your feedback. Thanking you Adrian
