Only 30 comments😅 nobody interested to report anything because as we all know it's not easy to complain anything regarding our companies. If we raise any complain then we have to face trouble in our careers & we don't have other option to switch over to other jobs. So in my opinion better option all authorties should do surprise inspection especially for crew wellness (rest hours, repatriation, medical issues, salary, timely/ urgency sign- off) like dg shipping started surprise inspection that is good & take strict action for those companies. Additionally i want to add, now all seafarers are aware about whom to complain but they are not doing this because they don't want reveals their identity ( name & indos no.) ,there should be confidential complain procedure to be followed. For exam part DG shipping should reduce syllabus & update accordingly. So that we can spend sometime with our family. Like now on board ECDIS is mandatory for all ships. So paper chart to be replaced by ECDIS for exams. There are too many things are outdated sextant, manual cargo calcultions etc now onboard all things are digital we are using software for publication & loadicators for cargo calculations etc. So these amendments are required for exam syllabus. Sir awareness sirf logo ko dene se kya hoga.. Agar colleges hi campus nahi karwate.. Specifically ratings ke liye bahut sare problem hai.. Root se sab thik karna parega.. Agents ka kala saya seafarer par baht buri tarah se chaya hua hai.. Ratings karne wale Sare bacche gaon ke nahi hote kuch majburi mei v karte hain unka kya??

This is nice information but sir main puchna chahta hu ratings ke liye woh koi bhi company main resume lekr chla ek hi answer experience hona chahiye ya fir interview hoga pass ho gye uske baad bhi service charge mangte hi hai interview ke baad bhi toh sir ratings ship join kaise kre without service charge

Also about coc exams from where did agents get phone numbers , names and indos numbers and status, how do they get all info and call you for clearing coc exams, this issue has been raised continuously, what dg is doing for this

I think our system is not updated, our seafarers will just keep watching as other countries will progress ahead of us like Singapore,uk. Its just a matter of time, until Chinese learn English and our seafarer are already going to uk, singapore. So i believe we will not be able to fill up the pool.
