8th gens are a complete pain to work on. Very tight engine bays. Nice work guys.

@@Gen10civicpretty much every modern fwd car you need to remove the subframe to remove the transmission. If you have a lift and a subframe jack it’s not bad at all.

Supercharger is the way to go on 8th gen for simple bolt power enhancer. On my 8th gen R18 I went turbo because the layout is much easier to go turbo.

I have the very same car Fiji blue pearl FA5. I have 110k on it. Its garage kept with a cover on it. Its been parked since 2015. I wonder how much all that work cost? Including parts and labor. I'd love to have that done. Location DFW Texas. 😁

Did ya consider installing a positive displacement sc kit like mercracing kit? Complete bolt-on, powerband is more beneficial than the kw for street driving.

I have a 2011 w 208k miles. Have always wanted to install one of these. The car hasn't been beat on and never any major issues. I get on it once in awhile and still drive it quite a bit. Still has original clutch which I'm going to change just because. Do you think the motor is safe with added power without a rebuild with this mileage?

Kit alone is 4800 plus the clutch and upgraded fuel pump. The fuel pump they send with the kit is not that good.

I never understood why a bunch of kids like this put the intake in the back of the engine bay. Wouldn't you want it somewhere in the area of the oem to get cooler air?

The newer versions of the kw kit, (for the 9th gen) terminate that intake pipe right behind the headlight, not near the header.. a quiet way of them saying you're right..

This guy's so cheap I bet he changed the owner some ridiculous price for straight forward install an no warranty on them old hose clamp guys so cheap it hard to replace the factory clamps probably gonna charge extra $400 bucks to place the gaskets he called the customer
