When I try to go up or down I hear a clicking sound, and if I'm continuing trying to go up or down then it works, but it does it all the time. Do you think are the solenoids?

Good morning ☕️ great to hear from you again. Any update? How old is battery? It may be low battery voltage or weak battery. Hi Mike, great video, thanks! I have done everything you have suggested but the motor still wont trim up. Trailer mode works fine. I dont know what else to try - any suggestions?

@@tyewood3718 Thanks for the follow up. A weak battery will cause this. Do you hear clicking? Awhile back, we were so certain that our battery was strong enough to operate the electrical load of the hydraulic system…however we realized our battery was a dud. Hi Mike, Ive tried everything, and the motor still wont trim up. The green and blue wires when used on their own work fine. Inside the power lever the purple wire associated with the trim limit switch is connected to the "up" toggle switch on the power lever but doesnt seem to have any current running to it when I have checked the connections with a multi-meter. (Trim limiter is brand new and has been installed correctly - I think anyway.) The green wire is connected to the down and the blue is connected to the trailering switch. (which both work as normal) The strange thing is that everything was working perfectly a few months ago and then this problem just pooped up. Even with the motor running, supplying good charge to the battery it still wont trim up. I havent used the boat out on the water for some time, so im really at a loss. Any help would be great, thanks.

@@tyewood3718 Good morning, any update? Is it working intermittently or is it completely not working? If it’s trimming intermittently…both up and down…it’s likely your Trim Solenoids. Have you noticed any hydraulic leaks anywhere along Trim system?

Check continuity of wires and all switches too. Mine were switched and limits. I bypassed wired directly and used my ears to know when limited.

@@DIYwithMichaelBorders blue and green wires to trim up and down work perfectly. Purple wire connected to up trim button doesn’t seem to have power going to it. Checked all wires and they seem to be correct. New trim sender and limit switches installed. Battery good. 🤷🏼
