Yo, Mike Bayless. Your video is worthless without audio! IS THIS ABNORMAL...? DOES IT CAUSE LOOSE STEERING...? AND WILL REPLACEMENT OF THE POWER STEERING ACTUATOR FIX THIS ...?

Im in the same boat. I am having major issues with WOT boat lists left but tips right when correcting. Really need more info on if this will be fixed if I replace.

@@bbunn78 Boat is more than likely listing to port due to the weight distribution not balanced equally,,, If the batteries are located on the port side that could be the issue ... It maybe ok when one up in the boat but if a passenger is seated on the port side it would cause the issue to happen... Trim tabs are the answer to fix the problem as well as improve the handeling of the boat under various water conditions..

@@ianwhitton1732 Thanks for the reply. I installed trim tabs and its still happening. A portion is missing from my skeg and I'm fixing that now. If that doesn't help I'm thinking of upgrading to hydraulic steering.

@@bbunn78 Was speaking to a mate yesterday with. Bertram 25’ he has no steering slop & has Sea Star hydraulic steering ..Sounds like that is the answer… I note the Mercruiser legs have no trim correction fin mounted on the underside of the cab plate like most outboards have in order to prevent PROP WALK..Without prop walk being compensated for the boat will list as the leg has to be turned slightly to Starboard in order to maintain a straight course… That is why your boat turns better to Port than it can to Starboard…
