honestly the best way to work with mercury in cancer is to push yourself out of your comfort zone. I'm curious to know, wouldn't having Mercury in Cancer make you highly intuitive? I find I easily sense emotions and underlying moods of people and situations. I would like to add my personal experience because I have this placement. I am Sagittarius rising (moola nakshatra pada 1) and I have mercury in 8th house in ashlesha nakshatra pada 1 mutually aspected by Saturn sitting in 2nd house in shravana nakshatra pada 4 and moon is sitting in 7th house with Ketu in Ardra nakshatra pada 3. So, I would like to say, that I am emotionally vulnerable and very protective of those I care for. Okay. My placement of my ascendant and moon is in Aquarius... Right? I know I should think before I speak. And I continue to pep talk myself. However, I continue to come across highly immature and childish when I speak about emotions or conflict. Romantic relationships and friendships. If I am thinking to myself on these issues, I'm alright of sound mind and can articulate alright. I have the same placements!! Hehe Yeah if you have Gemini in both solar an lunar it basically just amplifies Geminis traits for you. So youre really a gemini through the core and innermost parts. It is known that mercury in cancer is best for more logical signs like Gemini. Geminis have strong minds but with mercury in cancer you'll also have a strong heart and it all balances out in some ways. Usually Gemini by itself have a hard time dealing with emotional situations and arent very good at incorporating emotions at all in their dealings with people which might be the cause for people to see them as cold, detached, and maybe just self centered but those who do have mercury in cancer changes that completey and all on a new level. Cancer Sun and Combust Mercury, both in 10th. Even though I have Virgo Rahu-Moon in 12th in the Uttar Phalguni nakshatra, I find the Cancer Mercury description to not make any sense and be really contradictory.
