My Mercury is in the 12 with Virgo. I would say with this placement, I tend to have to check myself for my anxiety when it comes to “perfection” and procrastination. I have a real call towards occult studies. My closest friends are those who are deep into introspection and different ways of life. I spend most of my time studying raja yoga. I have Mercury in Pisces in the 8th house. Also influenced by Satabhisak, which I think adds even more understanding of the depth, intentions, health and natural laws to this placement. Jupiter is in Virgo in the 2nd House. Important to note that my most prominent planet Jupiter is in a mutual aspect, where Mercury and Jupiter are in each other's sign across from each other (Jupiter in Virgo and Mercury in Pisces) in opposite houses as well (2nd and 8th). @@zoe.will. yea, I don’t mind sharing. I guess you can see the major difference is that I’m not as communicative. It’s weird though bc with people around, I can be a decent conversationalist. Like in terms of what I talk about, it’s anything or everything. Sometimes though my friends or family get annoyed bc I talk about random things lol or make up stuff for fun in a joking way. The retrograde part I assume does make me more self-aware and it helped with intelligence. I was a gifted student & in the #2 best public high school in the country (at the time). The issue now though is that im doing nothing with it. It’s also hurt my friendships. Im very wish you-washy with them. Very vocal &opinionated which is why I stopped talking to my friend group recently bc we just differ too much. Since both are in the 8th house, it’s also hard to maintain friends. Easy to meet people but still. Hard to really utilize I guess. Doesn’t help that I also have Rahu like almost exactly on my ascendant degree lol. Also idk if you feel this way too, but do you ever like want to be social and to communicate but once you do for a while, you get frustrated and burnt out? But once you stay isolated, that too gets frustrating. Like you feel as if you should be doing something but nothing is stopping that social frustration?

Like I am putting on a show. I joke a lot too with certain people who like to joke with me. I can be a flexible conversationalist in social settings. Anything and everything like you said. People's first impression I think is that I am talkative and fun 😅 I think this is where issues happen sometimes because when people get closer to me they realize I am very deep, I can see things most people don't want to be aware of, and I am way more serious inside. I also was a gifted student and quit highschool in sophomore year to finish school at a community college and graduated participating in honor society as well....like you though I am doing "nothing" with it now...I just like to study my own topics of interest for fun and get by doing organization and cleaning work. I think what I know and would love to teach is so controversial that it is hard to integrate it into my outer world, and I am so aware how it will probably be received that it seems really difficult and I'm not sure if it's worth it to stand out in that way. Which is also why writing appeals because it is a way to get my inner world out in a kind of antisocial and safer way lol Also yes!! Have very few real friends, but my real friends also say they have few real friends... I have had other groups of friends over the years, but it doesn't last. It kind of feels like with most social groups, they form to have fun and ignore and distract from their deeper issues...and at first I can operate on that level and put on the fun show...but after a while I am there always bringing them from the shallow waters into the deep end...and I just end up removing myself because I am aware they are uncomfortable with my vibe. And there is definitely a loneliness that happens a lot, I am primarily alone, spend time with myself, and yet when I am with most people the fun show is exhausting to me and having a real deep and meaningful response but holding it back so often, sometimes makes me feel even more alone than reading a book alone at home about something I'm interested in etc. Beginning to notice though that the people who stick close to me and understand me best are people who also appreciate and understand the deep and nitty gritty truth of things. The people who enjoy having those deep and honest and difficult conversations with me. Truth seekers. I find that the people closest to me have strong Aquarius/Leo/Scorpio/Capricorn/Virgo vibes...all known in their own way for being kind of "brutally" real with people and transforming things. So yeah, within my little friend circle, it is kind of tough for all of us though because when we share we know that we are going to receive some real reflection 🪞 back to us, but there is also a comfort in that with these people because we are actually being seen and heard even though it is difficult, which is actually really healing, but requires a level of trust and bravery. A lot of them talk more amongst themselves than to me though and I don't commune as much as them because I am more intense. There is a pattern where people I know... I don't talk to that often.... yet will contact me out of the blue and vent something really hard and real to me and ask for advice and emotional support. I actually love this. I'm left feeling useful and more energized after these kinds of real conversation. It is also interesting to note that although I get along well with my small intimate friend group my closest person is my partner, and a major part of what attracted me to having a close relationship with him is the deep and meaningful conversations we have on life and God and relationships. Another is his loyalty to the people closest to him. Another is that he is very comfortable in stillness and silence as well, which I really appreciate. Another is that he also likes to read and learn and share. We can both be very loner like and depressive at times, but we do have a deeper bond than most people I know, and people around us notice this. We both are very in tune with each other, and can practically read each other's minds...I think it comes with sharing so much of who we are for almost 10 years now. So my advice is maybe to find a group that is okay with you being less active in, yet still appreciates you, and a group that likes personal transformation and talking about real and deep stuff. I have also recently found a group of people online that are all over the world but are interested in detox and spirituality, and supporting one another through the difficulties of facing the subconscious (dark) and making it conscious (light/aware). The struggle is real 😉

Neither. Whole Sign is original/best system. (whole sign is not the same as equal. Equal is 30 degrees each, but divorced from the zodiac)

🤔Wonder why there's such a defense against the concept that houses=signs? I can understand that tendency to prevent the confusion of planets ruling houses versus signs but how does that take away houses=sign from a conceptual stand point? Comes off that way often when houses are described at times. Mercury in the 3rd sounds like Mercury in Gemini traits. Fickle, shifty, social and adapting and not liking burden of weighty expectations. Mercury in Gemini and Mercury in the 3rd hits close to home. ******************************************* May suggest why the Mercury in 9th example with Jeffery Dahmer actually showed some difficulty considering mercury in the 3rd wasn't "preferable". Also planets in their own sign 1) has been kind of concerning more than I realized. Seems like a slippery slope with difficulty to be mitigated. He has 4 planets like that and Mars being ruler of moon and aspecting the Mercury in it's own sign ruling the Sun is concerning...2) Venus in its own sign almost exact trine to Rahu.
