In Ep. 5 of Vortex Garage we start the Mountaineer project. This is a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer that has come in with some serious drive line binding issues. We go over the steps to diagnose, discuss the functions of the AWD transfer case on this truck, and remove the front driveshaft to determine the cause of the binding.
