Always said a "Healing In" stat would be nice, aka telling players just how much healing that hero received. Love it when people say "I got no heals", mean while the Mercy has like 20k healing out.

Mercy needs her low health healing boost passive back. Merging both beams into one during valk doesn't sound too op either consider Orbital Ray can do that too.

Since they nerfed GA Mercy feels like dogshit to play, super jump rez is basically a 3 second cast time, every little GA movement to reposition even slightly 3 second slap, she needs GA unnerfed to S2/3 levels and triage on Valk to be even close to be viable.

Once Juno came out she’s basically become a better Mercy w/ less complaints & hatred directed at her. Although she can’t dmg boost between rounds, the speed boost & dmg output she could do makes up for that. Not to mention she gets her ult incredibly fast & her one ult can make or break a team fight by itself. It not only does a shit ton of healing but also dmg boosts everyone at the same time. I’ve started playing Juno a lot more this season & I find her more fun to play. Her movement feels more fluid & I actually feel like I’m having impact with either my speed boost or ult.

They really need to rework Mercy at this point. I love playing her for her movement, but they've nerfed it so much that I’ve chosen to just play Juno this season. I don’t even have any mercy playtime this season , even though she’s truly one of my favorite heroes.

Unfortunately, I still don't think Bliz will make any meaningful changes to her unless her win rate or pick rate start to fall. Despite the best intentions of individuals, corporations will always prioritize data that can be put into colorful charts and presented to management over any anecdotal player feedback 💀 I am very open to being surprised tho (please, Bliz, she feels awful)

So sad that mercy can (barely somewhat) keep up with the fast/flying teams,,, but she doesn’t have the healing output even if you can stay alive/keep up :/

That first game was interesting. Not sure I could blame any single person but I will say it seemed like your Tank had very little idea of what to do. Lacked confidence so to speak. While Dva they mostly hung back, took a few shots, ran away, rinse repeat. I don't think a single Dva ult hit anything, and she never really pressed forward to get picks either, even when she had a Ana to support her. Then the tank proceeded to swap tanks constantly, mostly wasting ult charge in their indecision of what to do. The fact Winston and tracer could just walk all over your teams back line with almost nothing to contest it wasn't a good thing either. Your team didn't really peel back to help, nor did they seem to get any kills on the enemies while their tank was gone, because as Much as Winston chased you and Ana he wasn't exactly quick at getting the kills either.

U make a good point about everything except the dva ult, especially in higher ranks, it should never be used for getting kills. It just isn't viable or likely that you'll get anyone unless you just so happen to find a stars align moment. her ult should only ever be used as a second life, making sure she's in the team fight as long as possible(which is what they were doing) and if it just so happens to get a kill, than that's just lucky.

@@tobysoneregret While true in general, it goes against how the Dva was playing. Aka constantly staying back and poking the enemy to build Ult charge. If all your doing is building Ult charge, and then you either swap hero's or fail to make an impact with your Ult it's a huge waste of time. It also doesn't always have to be a kill, just driving enemies off point is enough to call it worth it. Far as I remember this tank did nothing of the sort.

they had mercy brig the majority of the time they were on dva. that is not a support lineup that allows a dva to be aggressive whatsoever.

I hope mercy gets better treatment soon ❤ She has always felt less impactful after the movement nerfs, I don't understand why the devs would take away something that made her stand out - shes so vulnerable to dive now, and other supports get survival tools.

i have 1500 hours on mercy but stopped playing her bc i feel nowadays she is useless asf. now i play every other hero, but not her. even started playing tanks and ranked up faster also after hp nerf and last few patches i also feel like i started dying more

I hate that people say mercy shouldn’t be buffed or in a good state because she’s a low skill floor hero. It drives me nuts. She shouldn’t be meta by any means, but she should at the bare minimum feel like she has impact in a game. There are so many no-aim low skill heroes that don’t get near the amount of neglect for balancing that mercy does.

I stopped being a mercy 1 trick due to her continuous nerfs- as if she needed them, she was really powerful when she had her healing boost and 1.5 GA cooldown- yet she wasn’t even a threat, nonetheless playing Mercy is fun and I enjoy playing Mercy here and there, hopefully one day I can reach ur lvl of skill 😂

she never had a healing boost and 1.5s ga. the season they gave her triage healing was also the season they nerfed her ga to 3 seconds if that's what u are referring to.

All of the nerf’s they made to mercy & all of the backlash & hatred directed at mercy players has really made me stray away from playing her- unless I’m with friends who I know I can rely on. Otherwise there’s really no point for me.

Mercy hasn’t been in a good spot bc of her continues deaths and her low healing. 😢 Even with 65 healing with the damage output and lower heath pulls there’s sum games teammates you can’t save. And with dive being played a lot (dva, and sombra, tracer, Winston, genji) mercy dies ways to much and can sometimes be considered useless 😔

The main issue is she only heals one target at a time, from a relatively close range. Meaning she generally has to be at risk to heal a target and it's not even that high of a healing compared to other supports. Mean while most the rest the supports heal from a near unlimited range, heal multiple targets or have more than one ability to heal with. Rez for all it's power often sits unused in a lot of matches. Either because your team mates just don't die in a safe spot to rez, or the rest of your team will die if you stop healing them for a second. I always felt it would be nice if Mercy's beams stayed attached while rezing a target. You'd still have to be close to some one, and you couldn't swap them. But still being able to heal one person while doing the rez would help some.

honestly her reverts(or “buffs” if you wanna call it that) put her in a better spot albeit shes still not good cause now her glaring issue is her ult valk it brings nothing to the table other than it being a survival buff for mercy and if we take ow1 into account i believe valk never once received a buff and with how ow2 reworks are the chances of mercy getting a buff for valk(taking into account that it took them 12 seasons to “buff” mercy) or a complete ult rework is very slim

@@kittykedama7643 The problem is almost always Rez. People consider it too strong to buff the rest of Mercy's kit, ignoring that in most situations it's almost useless. Unless your ally dies in the perfect spot so you can rez around a corner, and even then your taking yourself out of the fight for a second or two, which can cause problems if your teams not working together. The last few patches are a pretty good sign they have no idea what to do with mercy. They keep lowering and raising the same numbers in healing, Dmg boost etc. Even going so far as to attack her movement cool downs, honestly the one perk of being mercy was her high mobility and they nerfed that a few patches ago. Honestly at this point the only support with more reworks (and nothing to really show for it) is probably Brig. She was nerfed for almost a solid 2 years after her release due to Goats, and now she's just sort of there.

Imo, the movement she had in ow1 right before ow2 came out was the best one she's had. It was the most impactful and had the most skill expression. I'm very sad my favorite game died and got replaced with this crap

It’s crazy because mercy is in a worse situation than she was in ow1. Mercy’s Rework ( moth meta ) was in season 8 of OW1…devs in OW2 refuse to acknowledge her state but keep selling her skins.

at this point playing mercy is just throwing unfortunately, i recommend taking a break from this game until a rebalance or meta change :( i think things will be much better once they reimplement 6v6 for testing

When the pink skin came back you could also buy rose gold skin which included a staff that can be equipped with any mercy skin of your choosing

Other supports just have better utility, damage boost can’t save people from bad positioning like other heroes (juno/lucio with speed, kiri/bap with immortality) especially when it comes to supporting the tank. I feel for my tanks right now due to all this, the meta is meta-ing 😂

I think mercy's design just doesn't fit well with the direction the game is going.. I don't think they should buff her healing or damage beam by raw numbers. Her healing method is too good to be as powerful as other healers because it goes through walls, shields, never reloads. No cooldown damage boost is a problem if it's too powerful because of one shot potential etc. And it doesn't help that her ultimate is very selfish. It doesn't help the teamfight that much, it mostly just helps mercy survive. And rez is very situational so she spends most of the game without an E ability. They could play around with the bodyblocking/distraction aspect of her kit. The only way to get value as mercy right now is to let enemies try and chase you. It's very easy to win even if you ignore mercy 99% of the time and only look at her to deny the rez. Like a rework that lets her use her own health as a resource to help her teammates somehow.

mercy mains need to stop grouping with top players to get to high gm or champ. Blizzard only balances based on win rates. Because the win rates of mercy in high ranks is so high they've stopping trying to buff her for the past few seasons, despite how shit she is without a duo or team to carry her. The only way Ive seen mercys climb to gm after season 8 is with a duo or group, not solo.

It's easy to play mercy in diamond and under but she's just skill capped in master. Very few even touch gm5 solo queuing post season 8.

there is literally no mercy players in high gm or champ, barely in gm at all. most of the top mercy's can't make it past masters. i'm gm5 with only mercy and it's a pain in the ass, previously was gm1/t500 in both ow1 and 2. i barely play at all anymore on my gm account but in my placement games i was literally the only mercy and barely managed 50% winrate. even with a good duo literally no mercy's are in gm/champ, so i have no idea wtf you're referring to? a champ dps could probably boost a mercy to gm but definitely not mid-high gm and champ. i doubt anyone below gm2 could boost a mercy to gm, u'd have a much easier time boosting a juno or brig. u are just wrong in that regard so idk what ur talking about lmfao. mercy is terrible with both a duo and solo anything higher than masters. mercy's winrate isn't "good cause mercy players are being boosted in gm+" it's bad.

@@heavens3nt Just because you haven't seen mercys in high elos doesn't mean there aren't. Shartcandy one tricked mercy to champ 5 with a duo. Housewife duos with top dps to get to gm3 with winrate in the 70s-80s. Choco/melody got to gm3 with wr in the 70s. Lots of mercys in low gm from post season 8 have high wr in the 70s.There is also a champ mercy in Asia with 93% win rate. Those are not solo q rates in these seasons. They have to be duo/group.

If you believe she needs help then they should give her a semblance of skill expression……in OW there is nothing worse that an easy character that is also broken and mercy is truly the easiest most braindead character in the game and its not even close, remove rez and make damage boost a resource meter so mercy mains actually need to think and give her a new skillful ability and return her movement to the OW1 version, not this babyfied movement they gave her in OW2
