It's hard to believe that any version of Silent Night could be poor, it's such a beautiful song especially in the message. Mercy Me adds a uniquely upbeat version that I absolutely love. God Bless Mercy Me and all who have the privilege to hear this song and the rest of their music!

I feel God has totally forsaken my granddaughter and I. I have never prayed so hard in my life. But seems to fall on deaf ears of God. Please pray that my granddaughter comes to live with me very, very, soon! She is SO miserable living with her hateful stepmother that she felt mutilating her body with a razor blade was her only way of dealing with the emotional pain. My son (her father) is a lackadaisical parent. SOOOO much more to this story! Her biological Mother committed suicide when my granddaughter was 7 yrs. old. My home is THE only place where she can just be herself and stress free. I love her and want to protect her. In Jesus' name. Amen.

I’m sorry for your pain and that of your family. The darkness is indeed powerful, but it will only go where it is allowed. I’m sure your son carries his share of pain and is ill-equipped to process it, so does nothing or very little. My prayer is for your trust in God-not that he will merely do what we want but what is best and the highest good. As one who lost my own brother to suicide, I know that it’s extremely hard to keep this mind…but the worst thing you can do is give in to disbelief in the character of God. Doubting is human and normal; but let your despair in it turn you to search His Word for His promises. There are others who have walked this road before. Praying for your family.

Further more if I was a program director of a radio station this would be the only version of silent I would play no disrespect to other artists versions.
