The Japanese song is from a commercial. They used that because in the 80s or whatever Japanese working men were over worked just like the shrimp man. The song spoke about a time period when they promoted an energy drink so that over worked people can still function. This show makes statements with out shoving them down your throat pause. So the alien basically pumped him full of that drink “regain” and said get back to work. Thats why they kept threatening him with cutting his pay. It spoke about the harsh treatments in a song lol. The weirdest part of this episode though was the “toe curl” reference. If you know what that means you know.

Apparently the song shrimp-man sings is a jingle for Regain, an energy drink. Like, some 5-hour energy thing. The shit you make Kiryu down bottles of at a time when you have nothing else in a fight. The dub didn't even make-up an English version, they just sang the jingle too.
