Thanks, even though I'm not too proud of this vid honestly. It kinda failed to show the scale of the event which I wasn't able to fully capture due to internet issues (240+240 players for my max 2MB connection and over 200 ping). Half of my footage from the event was players warping around so I kinda had to pick some 'worse' clips that didn't have players flying around all over the place. Oh well, hope my next vids will be slightly better. :)

Congrats to both sides. That was probably the best smash I've ever seen. It's the only smash I've ever seen, but that's not important. For those who aren't aware yet, Matterson barely won it (I'm well aware of the math errors, it ended up in Matterson's favor). It was such a close fight. If there were ever a situation where Emerald was the right choice then this is it.

That's a really cool looking video, but it doesn't really show why Server Smash is different than just normal play on the live server. I'm not trying to be too harsh, I get that it's really difficult to capture something as complex as 240 people working together in a three minute video.

It was actually really close. Matterson was getting it's shit pushed in for most of the smash, but managed to take the lead by 1 point in over time. Then there were a few math errors and the win bounced back and forth, but in the end Matterson took it! Hats off to Waterson tho, the put up one hell of a fight.

Alex Benoit Yep! Good game. That's kinda our style on Mattherson, bunker down for most of the timer, then push out for victory in the last 30 minutes.

In my opinion, I don't think you captured the scale of the fight, it just looks like a regular PS2 montage, nothing more. We had 700+ players fighting, but it seemed like this could very well be a ~50 population going on. And I think that's a shame.
