When I was a child back in the 70s my dad would bring me to Fiesta Carnival but it closed down more than a decade ago. Glad to know it's open again.

Good to see Fiesta Carnival back in action. Back in the 80's we would go there as kids, then it was eventually left to rot. Then they closed it down, turned it into a Shopwise, and now... back to place for kids again. Good one Araneta guys.

I grew up in cubao and I Miss the old carnival, so many childhood memories I had there. Missing also the old araneta center. 😢

Thanks for showing the new hangout place. Now I have an idea where to take my nieces the next time I visit there. Very convenient to commute there. Just take the MRT & get off at the Araneta / Cubao station.

Fiesta Carnival was already an attraction in Cubao back in the 70s but it closed down when the rides got old and obsolete. It was then converted into a grocery store. The reopening of the carnival this year should be a welcome development to folks who frequent the Araneta Center.

Fiesta Carnival was popular since the 70s and 80s it's an indoor amusement park, they have a roller coaster, horror ride, Perris Wheel, and a real simulation airplane inside the building, also they sell Halloween mask and food inside that building which is famous with their waffle and corn dog.

Fun facts: Festival Carnival was been popular since 80s. I mean that Festival Carnival was established in 70s until 90s but it closed down 2000.

Hey the tramplelin seems to be a lot of fun out there. Just be extra careful when something is new and unfamiliar for you there, Mergim. The electric car track was too short and boring for an adult drive. It's just intended for kids. Nevertheless i'd like to try most of the facilities and ammenities there. Hehe. We were in Novtoel over the last weekend. The original Fiesta Carnival was a playground like roller coaster etc. It closed then became Shopwise. But now back again but this time modern games.

Channeling your inner child at Fiesta Caenival. The original had a very high ceiling which was able to accommodate rides that were elevated. Oh, that's a terrible experience in that trampoline area. Yes it should have a softer bottom.

There used to be Roller Coaster, Ferris Wheel and other rides there. The skating rinks used to be on the 2nd floor around the four sides of the whole structure.

Fiesta Carnival was built in 1971, and was envisioned as an enclosed amusement center with roller coaster, a carousel, skating rink, a mini-train circuit, a fairy-tale castle, and an area with 2,500 seats.

Yes it was Shopwise before but it was a an indoor amusement park unbelievably packed with amusement rides and yes even a train with real mini tracks that is so loud so that no accidents/hit and run will happen.

They do have leading ambulant keepers that clear the tracks seconds just before the train will pass.

It once housed a ferris wheel, a caterpillar, an octupus, bump rides, plane carousel, a real carousel, real mini train with real mini tracks that goes around inside, parlor games, food shops and you eat standing up everywhere because it's so crowded.

It would't be allowed to operate today because that's how dangerous it really is. There have been fatalities that's why it close after about 2 decades of operation.
