@@dannydd You are so wrong. Because "going to another city in your own country" does not offer the same exotic, tropical feel and lifestyle. It may not even offer the same warmth, hospitality and kindness of people. Going to a country where the general population speaks English (like the Philippines) is just value added plus because so many other factors such as the one I mentioned above can be found here. And, since interaction with the locals is one big aspect of life it is SO MUCH more fun and WAY easier if one can converse in the same language. Can you imagine doing sign language even when ordering coffee everyday, among others??? End of story!

According to my daughter, she recently visited Bangkok, we have similar places like Makati Ayala and Pasig city. It's just like Philippines we have tourist spots and the economy is just like the Philippines.

In the Philippines , more or less 95% of the citizens understand and speak English and all the signage are in English also. You will not get stressed out talking to the locals even in the small towns or provinces.. I wish you can stay and experience the holiday season especially New Year in BGC . Go back to BGC coz u’ve missed a spot. Venice Grand Canal Mall. It’s a must see also, then go to Eastwood City in Quezon City. For the beaches, go to Palawan, Boracay, Siargiao, Cebu, Camiguin, and so much more… Enjoy ur stay!!!

BGC is a high-end city wuthin the city. In McKinley, I was in Venice Grand Canal Mall, a very great mall like Venice. The old Manila is in Intramuros, Spanish era area and the oldest Chinatown, near to that, and that's Bonondo. And also the Chicago vibes somewhere in Quezon City, I forgot the name. Haahhaha And the SM North with Trinoma malls in North EDSA, so cool. The Greenbelts in Makati is so modern, too. If you wanna go other places, I recommend Boracay, Baguio City, and other towns and cities of the country. Enjoy, dudz! Maraming salamat po. ❤
