@@ygorschuma3059 Honestly knowing that made me forgive DS2. It was still a good game but I found DS2 disappointing compared to DS1, but finding out that the reason it didn't have the same attention to detail was because much of their focus was going to bloodborne makes it worth it.

A lullaby for a baby. A reminder of a man. And the song of the end. Qhat a strange song. Perhaps Father G listened to this song, before losing himself to the hunt. Perhaps he met a nightmare or a celestial being, while hearing such a lullaby. That would explain how he could remember himself. But the baby or the nurse are still..unexplainable.

Well said. Although i would imagine that he would be terrified whenever he hears it if it reminds him of a Nightmare of some sorts. But he likes it apparentely. Even giggles when you play it to him as a summon, because it reminds him of his child cradled. But who knows, maybe going through nightmares is just an ordinary thing amongst Hunters! And he happen to be upon this song and took it home with him.

@@velocitylk True. But that leaves a bigger problem. What's the purpose of the song? I doubt it only serves as a reminder of yourself or a song of a baby. Maybe a sign of a foretold future, or a sign of something watching you. You hear this song whenever nightmares appear. Maybe I'm just looking into it too much.

And When fighting the Wet Nurse, it was a literal music box playing the same tune in the background for Mergo to sleep maybee?? But yes we might be looking into it too much.

Music is mathematics; it's as complex as it is beautiful, so it could be the Great Ones form of language. During the whole time the hunter character spends in Yharnam, there are a lot of references related to sound and it's importance and use: Great One Oedon - formless only existing in sound. The several bells that allow you to get to other hunter worlds, other hunters into your world or animals (Madara's Whistle) The bells on the Lamps (checkpoints) And of course, the Music Box

The mystery that I've still seen no explanation for is why can you find Eusopheka's blood vial in the nightmare? I have a theory but nobody has ever made a concrete answer to my knowledge. I personally think Eusopheka was a part of the Choire and that she may have been the doctor to have removed Mergo originally. The vial is found in an area close to queen Yarnam. I think she may have helped bring Mergo into the world but then she was also the one to shove the new borne into the nightmare. I also believe the grief of knowing what she had done is why she is so adamant about keeping people away in the beginning... before the imposter turns her into a celestial emissary that is.

I always thought her Blood Vial is there for gameplay reasons honestly, Or like a "Hey! Remember this place?" Type of thing. But! It could be just a reminder for you to revisit the Clinic in case you didn't already, Otherwise, you'll miss out on her plot and Cainhurst Castle. Although, i like your theory way more than mine since it's a strictly lore theory :D

My god, finally another person who pointed this out, nobody EVER questions why her blood vial is basically at the apex of mergos loft. I know damn well Miyazaki is a stickler for details and to have that blood vial was intentional, had they wanted to give you health they could have simply gave a good amount of blood vials. The only thing is, my theory is kinda weird and less dramatic. I think Iosefka's blood vial is there because maybe its a vial of blood very reminiscent of her's to the point that we just assume its her, but actually maybe the vial wasn't hers at all and she had somehow found(stole) this blood that was potent and refined that would heal and invigorate you...what the blood was originally meant to do, meaning the very culmination of all blood research. Most of if not all of the blood that was administered from the Healing Church backfired except whatever they achieved with the Choir, now think about what happens when the imposter arrives. Whoever she was, I don't think she was the one who had the blood to do her experiments so maybe Iosefka had stole from the healing church and this other person knew about it as well and wanted part and Iosefka denied her, causing the imposter to eventually turn on her. I believe these two were part of the Church but left for some reason or knew what they was up to because why else would one small clinic house some of the most powerful healing blood in Yharnam?

Nah, Yosefka was with the choir, Mergo was captured from the Labyrinth by Mensis. They're were opposing factions that got to the point of being violent towards each other.

Iosefka wasn’t with the choir since the Imposter Iosefka, who kills real Iosefka, was confirmed a choir member. My personal head canon is that Iosefka sent it there when she was turned into a celestial emissary by Imposter Iosefka (the one in the clinic that drops iosefka’s blood vial). Why? Eh, who knows. Accident, forced by Imposter, doesn’t matter. That’s the only reasonable lore explanation in my head, at least.

It is probably a well known tune through out Yharnam, it works on Gascoigne because it simply reminds him of his young daughters/past. Well that is the theory that i liked the most atleast :D

Not really, there are 3 "speeds" ingame. If you push the left stick slightly forward, your character will walk, resulting the animation you're seeing in the video. If you push it more forwards it'll give the second "speed" which is jogging :)

@@velocitylk but like, you could be slightly pushing and then suddenly not pushing at all, but just for a brief moment, which would allow you to control the speed, but we wouldnt be able to notice that by the footage Having said that, I guess I'll have to try it for myself
