I really like Underfell because of the concept it represents: Flowey’s philosophy back then was “kill or be killed”. But him being a total jackass coupled with the fact that next to nobody in Undertale is outright trying to kill you, and be persuaded from fighting as a result, it very deliberately falls flat. But what if that phrase actually had weight? What if the all the good-hearted and quirky monsters actually were out for your blood? It’s a helluva lot harder to be a goody-two-shoes pacifist when everyone is a blackhearted demon who won’t think twice about slaughtering everyone in your way, and in my opinion: That makes being a pacifist hit all the harder because you refuse to let your morals be corrupted by the cruelty all around you, and that you refuse to give up on the innate goodness of everybody.

I believe Flowey saying kill or be killed is probably just a way to justify his genocides, it does hold some ground in Undertale as most monsters attack you for existing and would kill you, and some monsters need special treatment in order to be spared ( alot of first time players kill Toriel thinking there's no other way ) but in underfell this concept is just extended and the idea of a pacifist choosing genocide nit because they can but because they feel like they have to is a neat concept

Something I noticed during Alphys's battle : She uses a certain design of rockets, uses electric barriers to block you, there is a machine gun, and the piston attack's sound effect reminds me of a little mobile game that uses a machine gun as a main gameplay mechanic (though in this mobile game, it's used by the main character). I guess you can say that, during "One Hell of a Show", we've had a Joyride.

Just wanna say this is one of my FAVORITE Undergell fan games I’ve ever seen. LOVE the interpretations of the characters; aggressive and violent, as they should be ! And Flowey still being passive and being able to actually help you out through your battles with the machine gun and extra attacks and options is such fun !! 8 also enjoyed his dialogue and sprites in battle mode, and is SUCH an amazing detail !!! I also ADORE the fighting mechanics. They’re so unique and creative and definitely breaks monotony of some attacks, and seem doable !! Creative enough , but not too difficult. Overall, I love the quality of this game and so happy the developed made this lovely little game for the community

15:27 this attack seems like it's referencing Skeleton Prime from Terraria quite heavily. You have a cannon that fires bombs, a laser turret, and a vice in almost the same positions they would be in on Skeleton Prime. The only difference is that instead of a saw, he has a harpoon gun, and it's position with the Vice would have been mirrored. Thought that was a really cool touch seeing as how they're both robots with four weaponized arms And I spoke too soon! Alphys has a Saw as one of her turrets in place of the Vice, which means that all four of Skeletron Prime's weapons are present. Cool!

I love that Merg just went screw it and went for the kill only to realize he had activated Underfell Alphys' trap card lol! Merg I highly recommend you do another vid for the other endings, especially sparing Alphys. Once you know what to do getting rid of the H.E.D weapons doesn't take very long and Alphys has a lot of really interesting dialogue! (Also Underfell Alphys is just extremely based in my opinion)

This fangame is on-par with Deltarune in terms of quality and care. Incredible. I've been so eager to see you play this, Merg! NOTE: You do have to talk Alphys down in the second phase to spare her. Also, it looks like you didn't have to do the entire fight again when you died. The "restart" option mentioned a checkpoint.

Underfell is definitely my favourite AU. It's interesting to see the Underfell versions of the characters. Also I'm glad an Underfell fangame finally incorporated my variant into actual fights, usually in Underfell fangames he's just there to be a ally but doesn't actually help you in fights. *Spoiler Below:* Ngl edgy, badass Alphys is actually incredible & very entertaining.
