I love that you are reacting to one of the most iconic SRK songs but this needed to be translated. In this song, SRK is singing about his mehbooba (ladylove) and how he yearns for her to be in front of him. The mannequin symbolises her and he imagines it coming to life but it doesn't. The actress (Mahima) who later enters is his love but she is unaware and sings about bringing his love and him together. Please react to these beautiful songs with lyrics otherwise it is unjustified. Also, try to understand that people may emote differently in different cultures and countries. That doesn't mean it's cheezy. An actor who has been appreciated by so many people for these expressions, whose appeal crossed boundaries to many other countries and brought Indian cinema to audiences so that today you can actually react to him, cannot be cheezy. Appreciate art for its many forms that entertain many and not for what you expect to be "natural". Because what is natural to you may not be to others. As per the dialogue of a popular Vidya Balan movie Dirty Picture (you should watch) where she says, "people want 3 things in a movie; entertainment, entertainment, and entertainment.... and I am entertainment". SRK is entertainment which has touched the hearts of millions and I hope you do not think his audience is so dumb. I have stated this before and again stating that since both of you are actors.... Here is a challenge and a video idea.... Try recreating any popular SRK song/scene and express with your "natural" acting and get people to compare and react.

Another irrelevant info : The actress here 'Mahima Chaudhary'... This was her debut and she played great and took the debut actress award too. But not everyone's fate is that good. Srk introduced some of the most successful ladies of Bolly from Deepika, Preity (song in Dil Se), Anushka to Shilpa.... But she couldn't stand long in the relevance list and couldn't make it to the top league. ❤❤
