She was mad because her mom.was cheating with the catfish person. Not physically, but mentally she was cheating on her husband. Granted he sleeps with 3 other women but thats besides the point. Meri is now shunned by the family for what she did and so is her daughter. They may act like they all still get along but i know non of her siblings go to visit her in chicago nor ask her to come visit them. Shes mad because what her mom did screwed up her relationships with the family too. Also, because meri wont admit she was trying to cheat with some one else and or leave the family while being catfished. What her daughter doesnt understand is that after cody rejected the idea of IVF for another child, he stopped working on their relationship. He wouldnt even go to her house before the catfishing thing. She needed help figuring out the sprinkler system and holding the ladder for her and he wouldnt come over and help her while they lived in the culdesac. So cody dipped out 1st if you look at it. Once robin came along, he started ignoring everyone else

Wish Marie was my mom. I love my mom but she’s a child who was on heavy drugs most of my life. She put me and my younger brother through hell and even chose a man over me my who was clearly trying to sexually abuse me. She even made me sleep next to him after I showed her what he’d been trying to do. And for years treated me with such hatred. She would physically assault me for years as if she hated me for being born with my father and hated me because her relationship with a pedo didn’t work out. I spent years hating my mom and then suddenly I realized she didn’t understand who she was and was incapable of growing past a certain point without guidance in this lifetime. So I forgave her and never judged her again from that point. But I don’t know that Marie’s daughter truly understands just how lucky she is to have Marie. I wish I could’ve been so lucky. But I decided I’m glad I did get my mom because she’d end up needing someone someday to teach her what love is. She’s been so alone in life and I’m thankful to be here to assist her and love her.

As for Mariah, she was never a favourite, but I actually feel she’s grown a lot. She just wants to forget about it and try and rebuild her relationship with her mom but I get the impression Meri will only allow that to happen if Mariah accepts the story on Meris terms so Meri doesn’t have to admit her real part in the situation.

Your Child is Your Child, not your BFF, you have to remember this was also done on national TV. Her Daughter was raised with not only Cody as her father but everyone else as her family, so I'm guessing she doesn't want to have to keep reliving it.. on TV. In the end we are all responsible for our own choices and the aftermath. I'm not insensitive, I can't even imagine being married to Cody and Robyn but as his first wife she did help bring these other women into the marriage and everything that came with it. I'm guessing the reason most of their children choose not to have plural marriage is because of what they've seen and heard growing up. Most of their children are female and the boys have watched the toll it's taken on their mothers
