Maddi lived in fear of Meri during her ENTIRE childhood. Paedon still speaks emotionally of the situation although he is grown and far removed from the situation.... He said Robyn SAVED THE KIDS LIVES. Nobody should ever have to live with that fear. The kids are resilient but they should never have been exposed to such horrible situations.

Christine also said that Janelle was more interested in working. We saw Janelle not parent. She worked until 8pm and was gone before the kids woke up. So… I don’t know. We saw that Meri had a great relationship with Christine’s younger kids and Christine wasn’t happy about it. It was suggested by Kody that Christine’s 2 daughters live with Meri when they lived in LV and the girls were happy about it. So… I don’t know.

She was pretty conniving and she guessed very wrongly that Kody would like her more IF she was young and took care of the kids. But, Kody was finding wives to ease Meri’s pain and depression around not being able to have more babies. So, I don’t think “the kids” should really be talking. I don’t think they can grasp the idea of depression and this was before infertility treatments and invitro. This is something that they couldn’t have afforded back then. Christine realized how much peace she had when they lived separately and then she got upset about Robyn and was unable to recover. Meri was Kody’s love match. He replaced her with Robyn. Everyone else was brought on to help Meri/Robin. So… yea. I think that’s not how someone should find wives.

I’m convinced that the divorce from Meri was NEVER Meri’s idea. Kody convinced her to put it that way so it would appear to the public to be Meri’s willing sacrifice and suggestion for the sake of Robyn’s kids. But… I’m not buying it. This was ALL Kody’s idea to deepen his commitment to Robyn while quietly squeezing Meri out. He never forgave her for the catfish incident, even though he’s the one who created the emotional vacuum in Meri’s life which caused to to seek affirmation elsewhere. Ever since then, she’s been sticking it out to get back in Kody’s good graces, but he’s only been using her for the sake of the TLC income. She’s been sticking around because she knows she can’t make it on her own.

It's an even sadder situation when you realize that Padeon shared a room with his brothers on Janelle's side of thr Lehi house. That meant Paedon would have dinner and prayers with his mom and sisters, then bath and ready for bed, then bundle up and put on shoes to get to where he was sleeping. Janelle knew it was a power move to inconvenience everyone. Meri played the victim card and said it was about privacy. If Kody were any kind of leader, he would have told Meri that the kids can quietly use the hallway she created with furniture between certain hours or she could take the bottom apartment. It would seem that Kody was as afraid of Meri as Madison and Paedon.

I remember an Episode were Gwendolyn and Ysebel went to spend the night with Meri. Now, she was probably terrible to the older kids mainly the boys and Madison. I can’t see her being mean to Aspen (maybe Makelti) but I think Meri had her favorites. She praised Logan and she sat up front at his wedding. Idk I can see where she could definitely be “mean” or “abrasive”, but here’s the deal. If she truly physically abused any of those kids, and if Christine, for example knew about it and stayed, that’s messed up. Because Christine now says, Meri and her will not ever have a friendship, but she wishes her the best, etc. I can’t say I would be saying that about someone who was physically abusing my kids. So idk how much to believe about what he’s saying.

Sounds like a angry young man! I’m not convinced he knows what abuse is.?I can’t imagine the stress and pressure the adults were going through, publicly and privately. They’ve all said for a long time that they are entrepreneurs and they definitely know how to work social media. I don’t think we can trust that it any of this isn’t just a publicity stunt to increase revenue. We will never understand what this family lived. I’m not passing judgement on anyone. That generation feels like the have to shred their relationships with their parents in order to motivate them to start their own lives. 🤦🏻‍♀️

He’s not honest he’s woke. The woke generation has been brainwashed to believe their parents are mean and hateful people. He even dislikes some of his siblings. His childhood pics looks like he’s a loud mouth trouble maker I can’t believe if he was abuse that he would not open his mouth about it like he’s doing now. He’s smiling while he’s saying he’s abused. Abused kids do not smile while they are telling you they were extremely abused. Being intolerant of loud mouth trouble maker kids is not abusive. Having kids not running through your house all day long is not abuse. Yeh she might have been intolerant or even mean by using harsh words but thats normal parent behavior with some kids. Some kids can be a handful I mean look at janelle she never wanted to be around her kids all day long she even admitted it. She said she’d rather work then be at home with the kids. So, whatever paedon says you need to take with a grain of salt because he’s exaggerating most of it

Some of these comments- let me give you the perspective of someone who grew up in a strict religious church. My mom was part of a church, and the leaders were REALLY strict, the female one in particular. In church if my toddler sister was being noisy she would “help” my mom by taking her out of church into the back. My mom said later she was always suspicious that she was far too harsh with my baby sister, spanking her and speaking harshly and being rough. But my mom could never really prove it, and to bring allegations against a church leader is VERY SERIOUS. They can come back and say that you’re being spiteful, not using discipline in your household or basically punish you by making you “withdrawn from the church”. It’s like being shunned. My mom didn’t know what to do. Years later this woman was revealed by her step-children to have been horribly cruel and abusive, whipping them with switches across the backs of their legs and leaving bruises on their bodies. My mom is a good person and she felt such shame that as a young, overwhelmed mom who believed in what was right- she never spoke up. She always regretted not finding her voice. I’m telling you, I think Meri was somewhat like that. It’s very telling that in a family that huge, almost nobody likes her or wants to talk to her anymore. Everyone has been hinting that she mistreated the children and other wives for years. I believe that She dislikes children in general but there’s a few she thought were okay, hers included. But even her own child doesn’t really have that close of a relationship with her. It’s because they know how cruel she can be. It’s why Janelle and Christine had so many issues with her. I believe she targeted the boys in particular, and was easier on the girls. Nowadays you just see her playing victim over and over, but her family doesn’t buy it. They’ve seen sides of her that we haven’t. It’s very telling that the children gravitate towards Janelle and Christine- but not Meri. Children never forget the ones who cause them pain. I know it in my heart, Meri isn’t who she pretends to be.

Paedon comes across as an attention seeking drama queen...much like his mother. I genuinely feel in my gut that he is overdramatizing what he claims he went through with Meri. There is just something very calculating and malicious about the way he is describing the supposed abuse..as well As the timing and the fact that it's entertainment tonight's soliciting his opinion and therefore giving him all of this attention?
