How COOL...👍👍.. I won front row & center tickets, from a Country radio station in DesMoines, Ia..... A couple of years ago Merle & the Strangers were playing. In Ames ,Ia (College Town). I believe it was his LAST performance (don't Qoute me tho).. A few days later heard on the news that Merle was gone 😪😢😥.. Still have tix Stubbs... I've loved ol'Merle since I was a youngin..... AND THE BEST THING ABOUT THAT NITE.... I said to the Man , that we love him & he turned to me AND LOOKED STRAIGHT AT ME & said I love you too...... First time I saw Merle...I didn't. I was waiting at the Douglas County fair in Oregon. Merle was headed south on I-5 and kept right on going. This was around 1984 my girlfriend and I popped into the chevy nova and popped in some Haggard. Still a fan in 2013.
