@misscynthia17 Colin is clearly in love with that particular horse! :D He was goofing around it all the time...sooooo cute! ♥ And the rain was only on Monday. In the following days I got a sunburn! *lol*

@loopstagirl Hehe, the rain was only on Monday, and only for an hour or so... In the next days I got myself a sunburn! *lol* And yes, Colin jumping in front of that horse always makes me smile. He's just so adorable! ♥

Is this some sort of flashback or is Morgana really is back with them. That would be cool if they let her come back to the castle and Merlin would have to watch his back all the time.

Neither. ;) It's more like an exercise to prepare for the next scene, to loosen up or such. He does it all the time before they roll. :) Sometimes Bradley does, too. ^^

I'm not a professional actor but the way I see it [and I think this might've even been mentioned briefly in an interview but not as part of the main topic] is that it's to keep the energy in the body flowing that comes with being in character and keeping the mood of the scene. It's either so that when the cameras start rolling the movement doesn't look unnatural [like the weird jerky motion made as if a person had just suddenly started walking when in the scene they're supposed to have been walking the whole time] and instead flows consistently right from the start of a take, or it's to keep the body from going into a relaxed state/giving into tiredness so that the transition from filming to not filming isn't so abrupt for the body. But yes, as Jules said it can also be to just loosen up. In short it can be for a number of reasons but for the most part it's just in preparation for when they start filming, at least in this case from what I see =]
