They really struck gold when they cast those two in the leads! Seldom have I seen two actors fit their charachters, and each other, so well balanced as this - and at the same time have such on screen presence and acting talent. Normally, well more usual than not, people like this struggles to work together, panicing that the other will have the better lines or angles. As long as those two stays, and the writers provides the comedy and banter between Merlin & Arthur, this show could run & run.

it's all very amazing if you think about it. here we have Colin barely 22yrs old and fresh out of drama school. I wonder what he had to do to get his first theatre role (in 2007 iirc)? Colin was so lucky with landing this 'Merlin' job. he is from Northern Ireland with a thick Irish accent and lands the title role in a BBC production about an iconic character from the _Matter of Britain_ . and he makes the best of it. within the 1st season he makes so much progress, uses the break to shot _Parked_ , comes back much thinner and kills us with an even cuter Merlin in s2. I love him in everything he does.

I think it's really cool how Colin and Bradley didn't have much acting experience before this but now...here they are bathing in glory and hottness, but still are just...so normal! I think the fact that they weren't big time actors, also helped them get into their characters a lot more, so now not only are they Colin and Bradley, they're literally Arthur and Merlin. Which makes my heart swell! :)

Ho scoperto questo telefilm un paio di anni fa e ogni volta che lo rifanno su qualche TV lo rivedo sempre e lo rivedrei sempre. Merlino è semplicemente straordinario perche mi riporta alla mia infanzia dove la mia fantasia galoppava senza sosta ma a parte questo amo questo film perche racchiude tutti quegli ingredienti che ne fanno vibrare gli animi più sensibili e romantici. Cominciando dal castello in francia spettacolare che prima o poi , vorrò visitare. Una colonna sonora sublime dolcissima e maestosa allo stesso tempo. I personaggi che sulle prime non li ritenevo adeguati per la leggenda Artù e Merlino, ma che con il tracorrere Delle puntate sei costretto ad amare per la loro semplicità e bravura . L amicizia di Artù e Merlino è disarmante prende il cuore. Non vorrei mai vedere questi attori in un altro ruolo perché ne rimarrei deluso . E se un giorno capitero a Camelot in quello stupendo castello sognerò la leggenda con i loro volti. Grazie Merlino Artù chissà se un giorno riuscirò a conoscervi , o.... Forse meglio di no
