Hey Malcolm! I've just started learning the art of pipe smoking, and I'm loving the meditative state I get in when I'm just quietly smoking and reflecting. I'd love a video where you show your own personal ritual of smoking, from packing a bowl, to emptying it. Thanks for letting us have a glimpse in to your life!

You're an absolute treasure Malcolm, at 30, my life as a brit has been characterised by a secular depression. A desperate search of wonder and meaning. As I've grown older, I've come to my own understanding of Him, and we speak from time to time. However, I struggle to find that magic around my local churches, they seem somehow shut off, the door always closed and the grounds empty. When I sit back and light my own pipe, listening to your works and wisdom, I'm reminded that my search isn't in isolation, there are others such as Tolkien and yourself lighting the way.

Welcome to the quest, brother. There are still those who are seeking the grail, though many have fallen or been drawn away, and the rest seem scattered throughout the dark wood.

Although born in England i was not raised in an English house so, as a stranger in a strange land, have had to make an effort to understand 'The English'. As a child in the 70s, books were the door to the world and Lancelyn Green's Arthur was one constantly reread. This gave me the idea there was a music in England beyond the surface punk rock of class warfare. The better angels so to speak, excluded from the Comprehensive school classroom. As a teenager i hitchhiked around Britain, you could in those days, visiting ruined Abbey, Ancient stone circles, castles and in every city where there was one the Cathedrals. Where the belief was if one was still enough one could hear the Music they received from ancient times, today. Good luck with your book[s]. Safe sailing.

It is nice to discover that the writing process of an author as accomplished as yourself, is the same as one as novice as me. Perhaps the notebooks full of scribbles might still end up a tale that is read and enjoyed someday after all. Cheers.

That was absolutely beautiful, and insightful, and powerful. Haunting, indeed, to remind us of holiness, and the weave of God in one's soul, in our interactions, in Britain, and the soul-assisting lessons in the Aurthurian tale.

Bless you in your quest to tell the story of Arthur. As a young boy fascinated by the Arthurian stories it was always a struggle reconciling my Christian faith with most of the modern Arthurian fantasy I have read where Christianity is the big bad guy. In most of those stories, Arthur is fighting for a fading, pagan world that I don't belong to and I am on the side opposed to Arthur (the encroaching, narrow-minded Christian world) yet I always wanted to be on Arthur's side. I'm excited to read what you create. Beautiful introduction

I look forward to reading this and I hope very much that you live to finish it and that I survive to read it. Thank you for your work.
