Thank you for this review. I know a girl who loves mermaids. I may have to get her one. I did get her a few rainbow high dolls and other dolls. I think she would really enjoy one of these. Not sure which. I will have to look them over to see which I think she would like best. Your reviews are wonderful. Either they expose me to new things or give a review and opinion if dolls I am considering. I do like this one a lot. She's different.

One of the reasons i find jordie interesting as a doll is that she reminds me a lot of sporty spice/mel c from the spice girls. The colours are different but mel c did wear clothes like that on occasion. Plus the jacket is definitaly something people wore around the turn of the centuary. I'm getting old having been around when this was the fashion and not retro...meh

I love the heads and hands of these dolls! The faces are GORGEOUS! I want to do a head swap with a regular fashion doll body. The tail just throws me off. Like is it supposed to be a fish tail or a garment skirt, or both? It seems like a very surreal sort of concept. I just want them to be regular fashion dolls. They are very wonderful dolls so I think I will get them when they go on sale. This one, Jordie, is my favorite of this line. Great review!

I want these dolls, but I will probably never use the color change features on them. I have a dislike of color change features that are temperature dependent - mostly because I have so many memories of this one Barbie I had who I would actually just shove in the freezer to turn her hair streaks bright pink and being so annoyed the color change didn't last more than like five seconds -- I love the look of the Mermaze dolls though!

i just got shellnelle a couple days ago at target ( she was the only one there but it was perfect cause she’s the one i wanted the most) and i love her so much. i boiled her hair with conditioner and it made her hair feel SO much nicer than from straight outta the box. definitely recommend doing especially since they all have super long hair it’ll help w the tangling issue. i hope u love her just as much as i do when you’re able to get her 💗

I bought Riviera for my friend, her tail coating was chipped too. Had to return it since it's a gift. But yeah, hoping they rethink the packaging, it's kind of a bummer to see that.

I honestly like it for what it is but it MAJORLY lessens her versatility. All of the others have more neutral tails for sure. I think it’s cute but it’s definitely… weird

She is maybe the one doll in this line I actually want. I can mentally recognize just how gorgeous these dolls are, but something isn’t clicking with me at a subjective personal level when it comes to the eyes and faces. For some reason she’s always the exception to that whenever I see pictures or reviews of her. Riveiar as a close second to that.

My Targets seem to only have Jordie & Shenelle and sometimes Riviera I got lucky yesterday 1 of my Walmart’s had a display with all 5 so I bought Kishiko and she was $33.84 🤦🏻‍♀️ but I figured oh well just buy 1 for now and then I’ll wait for clearance/sales. Good to know that unboxing these is a challenge I might do it off camera then when I review Kishiko here. Jordie is my favorite but it’s been hard to find one without hair defects (snags in the braids) - also 1 Jordie at 1 of my Targets had an unfortunate bald spot right in front like some that I’ve seen aren’t as well rooted as I would like in the front of their heads- also checking faces for defects and making sure the exposed tails aren’t broken or have paint chips. 🧜‍♀️🤗🤞 were Jordies sweatbands bracelets removable?

What a great doll. This brand released too soon, IMO. They are stunning, but there are issues, she can be hard to stand, her accessories does not stay on the doll properly.

I think the string might be part of the joint for the waist movement and you probably don't want to pull it ou you might try to push it down in the doll if you can. Love you and your channel. Good luck with your upcoming move!

It's not part of the joint, it's just how they attach to the box, It's twin that seems to be wedged into the tail to secure her.

I love these dolls faces and the make up and I set eyes make them a must get however I’m disappointed in the hair poor Rivera is going bald over here it falls out sooo much I think that’s why Jordie is my favorite so far. And I have no idea how you had such luck standing them up. Neither of mine will stand no matter How I balance or place the hair I give up lol 😂
