Thank you so much for uploading this. Really. I watch this dance, since I found it, in my dance research, YEARS AGO, and I was so so SO SAD when the original was deleted from youtube ! I guess the Merrie Monarch themselves started petitioning to have all their videos pulled awhile ago for copyright infringement which is a shame for us on the mainland who love to watch this...

This is a group of hula studens called a Halau, this one is the Halau O Kamuela. This is at a hula competion which happens every year the week after Easter Sunday. It's called the Merrie Monarch Hula Competition. Look up Hula Halau of Kamuela, and you will see many performances by this group, even their children or Keiki competiton.
